A great place for a day trip, or a weekend if you're well equipped. There are no services available at this campground, and you need to boil the water from their well in order to drink it or use it for cooking. The campsites are a decent size and quite private. You are charged per unit on a site (ie 1 trailer 1 tent would be charged 2x the day rate). There is a small playground for young children, and the beach is a short walk from any campsite in the campground. The beach has very nice clean white sand, and the water in the buoyed swim area is very clean as well. There are no rocks or debris on the lakebed in the swim area either, which is very nice. Overall I enjoyed staying here - the camp hosts are very laid back and welcoming, the beach was great, and the fire was warm (after my sponge bath in the bush)!

noisy campsite music playing at lots of sites till 2 am , Broken beer bottles on beach, great place if you want to party, bad place if you want to sleep!

The campground host was not liking us not having reservations. Apparently this campground is now by reservation only. We had drove over four hours to find this out.

Nice beach. Quiet campground. Wish there was online registration. There are two outhouses and the smaller one is so poorly maintained that it makes you gag every time you go in, even after WE sprayed it with air freshener. ALSO, everyone that went into the water got swimmers itch. Make sure you rinse off in your trailer or at the pump then rub yourself dry with a towel.
