Browns Socialhouse West Henday

Service was good, food was pretty good, I still complain that the beer is never very cold. warm glasses or warm keg cooler I don't know but I've never had a crisp cold beer at any Brown's. The only real issue is that just like Earls, the Keg, and others the value isn't there compared to better independent restaurants. It's becoming more expensive for smaller portions. I recognize this is an industry problem but these larger chain restaurants seem too have distanced themselves from the smaller independent restaurants.

Had an office Christmas party here recently and the only way to accommodate dozen of us was to offer us a table at the patio which however roomy, was freezing cold. Even though there were several patio heaters in there, management didn't want to turn them on. Food was great and server pleasant. Would definitely go back with a smaller crowd.

Very safe location during covid, food is honestly always really good and the atmosphere is perfect. It is not too quite and not too loud that you can’t hear your guest or date. The waitress in this location are great and they really work hard. Good always hot and well prepared. My only complaint was that my food came so close to my appetizer, I think good needs to be spaced properly and the experience would be better.

Came here for a date and we had the spicy chicken burger, it was amazing! One of the best meals I've ever had. Not only was the food on point the service was exceptional. When our waitress was busy the manager stepped up. Checking out this location is a must.

Had a really good meal here. Ordered the gluten free hamburger lettuce wrapped instead of a gluten free bun. Used lots of crispy lettuce on it, was perfect. They do not have a dedicated fryer for fries. So fries will be cross contaminated. Instead we ordered the crispy cauliflower side. We just had them not crispy. They pan fried it in the sauce. We also had the gluten free brownie dessert. Yum.

Parking: great, lots of it and it's free Seating: great. Indoor seating was comfortable. They also have screened patio seating if you want open air. Service: we were served drinks within 5 minutes of sitting down. Our appetizers took less than ten minutes and our mains took less than 15 minutes. There was a miscommunication about our desserts but they fixed it with no issues. Our server was very friendly and personable. Food/drink: excellent beer, excellent dynamite rolls, excellent fish tacos which is hard to do in alberta. Cleanliness: no major issues, table felt a little weird but maybe it's the wood finish. Atmosphere: loud when busy, as there are no dividers between most seating. Cost: I was absolutely stuffed for 60$, including the tip. Overall: delicious, comfortable, and reasonable pricing. Would love to return.

Lovely covered patio, tasty food and drinks, friendly staff, what more do you need? I like how they seasoned the chicken on my little nachoes and my raspberry Marguerita was so refreshing

Great food, classy atmosphere and excellent service. Seemed a bit pricey if you are looking for a quick meal our bill was about $70, with tip, for two people, but definitely fits if you are looking for a nice evening out! ...It is also hard to know what is pricey these days with everyone feeling the pinch of inflation though... Top notch service! Our real estate team had our holiday gathering here and it was amazing. Everything was perfect, the food, atmosphere and our server, Kim went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of. I highly recommend this location. I must say that I am extremely disappointed with the experience I just had at this establishment. My table and I were not served after over nearly 20 minutes of waiting at our table. We then had to ask for someone to serve us. This simple request was given an attitude filled response. We also had multiple mix ups on our order, two members of our table were given the wrong drink, even after asking if they received the correct order. The food itself was not a problem, it was the beyond unacceptable service. The restaurant was also not busy at all, giving the staff no reason for our long wait. A table of 4 sat in the centre of the booths should not be ignored to this extent, there was even a server walking between the tables surrounding us. We are not happy with this situation at all, it was frankly unacceptable.
