Exceptional menu, with its local-inspired entrees. We particularly loved the use of saskatoon berries and bison meat in many dishes! The pork and the chicken cordon blue are a must! And the giant cookie and spice ginger cake - try them! The pasta too; it was especially filling and loaded with meat. Jackson our server was especially accommodating my wife changed every order and he had fun with that! and was a fun server for our group of 16!

I liked the burger. Wife liked the salad a bit less. Bannock are not as good as everyone says, but wife liked it. Overall I am giving this place 5 stars. Service was great too.

It’s wonderful thing when both the service and food are top notch! Our server Danny immediately made me feel at home! His service was incredible just a really good human that is a master at his craft! Thank you for treating us so well tonight Danny! Food was delish! I highly recommend the bison spring rolls and chicken cordon blue! I will certainly be back again!

What an AMAZING place!  Staying in Edmonton for a few days and saw this restaurant near our hotel and popped in for a late dinner.  Kitchen was close to closing but they sat us and served us as if it was prime dinner rush.  Our server, Danny was a joy!  He has a casual demeanor that makes you feel instantly welcome and really knows the menu well, providing recommendations and advice on sides etc.  The food was next level awesome!  The NY steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely.  My son had the Bison stew and absolutely loved it!!  Mashed potatoes and grilled veg were fantastic!  Beer was cold, food was great, atmosphere was chill and homey, service was excellent.  100% top notch. We were here on Tuesday night, and couldn't stop talking about it, so came back for a late lunch on Thursday.  Had the pleasure of having Danny serve us again and he remembered us, and remembered what we drank!  Now THAT'S impressive!!  This time I tried the poutine and all I can say is WOW!  Regular poutine is ruined for me now as this is the best I ever had!  Topped with ground elk, and the gravy is made with elk/bison bone stock.  Never imagined poutine could be this good!  We also ordered the Indian summer salad and carnivore pizza.  Both were excellent!  Pizza first came out a little under-done, but Danny took it back to the kitchen and had it fixed for us fast and with a smile!  Wish we lived here in Edmonton so we could eat here every few days!

Great quality, prices and selections. Some unique items elk, bison and even tasty warm bannock and maple whipped butter. Server was very friendly. Yummy Daiquiri too.

Called on August 8th to make a reservation for 7-8 on August 15th as you couldn't do it on open table for a party that size. Our guests from Prince George arrived before us and were told there was no reservation in my name. Good thing they were able to seat us still or they would have received an earful.  I ordered the special, a sirloin steak with Cajun shrimp. Was okay but not for $30. Even with finishing my wife's Ceasar salad I was still hungry. Server Farrah has improved since the Google review by someone 4 months ago.  Place has definitely dropped in ranking for us as a choice to dine out.

Love this place. Service was magnificent and the food came so quick. The atmosphere is superb with the fireplace. The food came in great portions and we're happy with the quality.

Phenomenal experience. My wife and I brought one of our children 4 years old and were fortunate enough to have Danny as our waiter - who single-handedly made our time incredible.  Danny’s service was superlative; extremely friendly and personable - anticipating our needs ahead of time and being on top of our young one.  Having worked in the restaurant industry and sat at many tables across a wide area, I say with confidence that Danny is by far the best part about HomeFire.  Saying that - go for the food, too! The soup was spectacular and everyone at our table was very happy with the quality - and quantity - of the food served. While my wife had the salad in the photo attached, I had the Carnivore pizza and our son the grilled cheese.  The pizza, while not re-inventing the wheel, was VERY tasty and I would gladly order it again. I also could only eat half before being full, speaking once again towards the value provided in portion size.  We’re only in town two days, and plan to come back tomorrow for another great dinner.  Highly recommended- and be sure to ask for Danny when you go!  Kid-friendliness: Adequate kids menu and a friendly environment for young ones  Parking: Easy parking and lots of spots that are close.

My friend and I were in Edmonton for the night for an amazing project. The two of us were staying at a nearby Hotel. We could see the restaurant from our room window, so we went to go brainstorm and get some food. Brett was our waiter. I highly recommend Homefire Grill! The environment and service was greatly appreciated. It's cozy, comfortable, amd the food was delicious! Thank you so much Brett for being so great! We made a new friend today

Comfortable, homey atmosphere; guest-centered experience. Very attentive staff. Excellent quality dishes, some with unique ingredients like bison, elk, and saskatoon berries. Great kids menu as well!  Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly options like Shirley Temples, grilled cheese sandwiches, and mac and cheese and others.
