Spent the evening in this beautiful park and watched my husband and his brothers have fire training on the Muskegon. Perfect night! I highly recommend it! I'll be returning to camp for sure!
We aren't from Newaygo County and struggled to find a place to launch our boat. Most of the boat launches are closed until Memorial Day weekend not an advertised fact but thankfully we found this county park launch - very steep but open. Next time we will camp here if we come this early in the year; the bathroom facilities were very nice.
Park is nice. Not super impressed with the cabins. The full bed is in the loft area which is very small and not easy to get into. The bunk beds should have had a full on the bottom and twin on top.
Hot boat weekend it's really nice camping here. Fifth wheels or tents welcome. You get a power pole or primitive. Bath houses. Over a hundred sites boat ramp that handle really large boats. Hot boat weekend there is thousands of boats tied together party city. Had a great time
The beach and swimming areas were well kept and big enough to allow several large groups to all use it while not needing to worry about interfering with each other. Being able to bring our dog was also really nice.
We have a seasonal lot there. We love it there. There are a few issues though. The new WiFi is spotty at best. The river is low due repair on the dam. No fault of the park. Told river will be back to normal heights by mid June. On the plus they have a new pavilion. Plenty of play area's for the kids. Smaller boats are on the river fishing. If you do go on the river there are many stumps and shallow area's. Be careful and aware of your surroundings. The boat ramp is usable and and few boaters were using it. Big disappointment having paid extra for our lot. Dogs are aloud this year. Which is really nice. The people running the park are exceptional very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Brower park. If you get a chance come for a visit. You won't be disappointed.
Great place to camp, several playgrounds, beach on site. Activities for kids at art barn, bathrooms were clean, better bathhouse by boat launch. Ice at entrance
Decent campground. I prefer concrete pads personally. Nice place on the river and good people all around.
Camped in a cabin and our kids and us had an awesome time. Very clean facilities and comfortable rustic cabins. We plan to go again soon.
Great place to camp. One of my favorite campgrounds in Michigan. Very convenient if you have a boat because of the channels you can park your boat in overnight right across from your campsite.
