Brokenrice Vietnamese Restaurant

Fantastic food. Spring rolls were excellent, crispy with a light batter. Garlic chicken wings were great. Star of the show was the shaken beef on tomato rice: succulent morsels of beef that melted in your mouth. Highly recommend.

Unique dishes you won't find at most Vietnamese places. The tamarind duck is great, the betel wrapped beef is a fun dish and the crepe is massive so prepare to share!

I’m giving this restaurant three out of five stars. Three and not five or four due to the fact that the prices were way too high if you see in the picture there that was my total amount for the dinner that I had. But I am giving at three because the food was actually rather delicious and the portion size was quite amazing. The spring roll that I had was probably the best Spring roll had in a long time it was downright delicious. Save for the portion size and the taste of the food I did not very much enjoy my visit. I found the restaurant to be a little pretentious and honestly the price of the receipt is to pay for the Decour not necessarily for the food that I had. I could get the same thing at other Vietnamese restaurants for about 12 bucks, tasting just as good and the same portion sizes. But the food was really quite delicious. As you can see in the photo that I have displayed that I cleaned up my plate completely. I would say that if this place wants to be continuously bother I would lower the price by about 30%. I’m definitely giving this place three stars for the taste of the food and the portion size.

Cheap food and great selection. Nice bowl of hot pho noodle soup is a great choice for a cold winter day. Price is very reasonable and the portion is big. Located on busy Hastings street, so parking is a bit tricky sometimes. Go check it out!

Food was delicious but a bit pricey. The service averaged out to be okay in that the waitress was excellent and the waiter was not.
