Stopped by a few times to try their baked good as I walk pass this place every day. Never had anything spelt before and was naturally curious. I’ve tried their spelt coconut bar, croissant, spelt poppy seed pastry and coffee. Pastries were ok in my opinion and coffee tasted watered down the one time I ordered it.
Great selection of breads, my go to place for ciabatta. Fruendly staff and cozy place if you want to eat in.
I appreciate that this place is open after my work hours. The best bread. Very creative takes on amazing classics as well as the classics. Recently there was a cranberry walnut baguette that was incredible! The rosemary and roasted potato bread I got on my last trip was fantastic too. Vegan options for bread but very vegetarian friendly generally.
Ordered a take-out latte and a croissant here. The staff at the counter weren’t the friendliest when I came in and didn’t really have a conversation with me or even thank me for coming in or say have a good day after. Croissant was pretty good and so was the coffee, just a bit pricey for the size. Might come back to get a loaf of bread or another pastry since the selection is quite large.
Beautiful products, beautiful place, horrible costumer service. The attitude of the people working there was like they were doing me a favour simply by existing. I walked in polite, with a smile on my face, ready to purchase some bread in an empty store and the 2 people working at the time, barely acknowledged me to begin with and continued the exchange in a rude manner. Last time I checked, the customer is the one who keeps you going, and pays for your bills so may continue your business. As a small business owner I go out of my way for my polite, good intentioned customers because I understand this. This type of attitude makes it very difficult to support local businesses. As far as I'm concerned, no matter how amazing your product or service, if you can't do the minimum of being polite and respectful to a polite and respectful costumer, you should close up shop altogether. This happened on Dec. 23rd 2022, in the early afternoon.
Breadland is a stunning cafe and bakery that reflects that through their food, service, coffee, and atmosphere. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to work/study and if you want access to healthy bread options. Pastries are phenominal and unique! Just discovered and will be coming here more frequently.
Well worth a visit. The pastries were fresh out of the oven and delicious.
This is my favourite place for home made like goodies and breads . Every Saturday is my regular visit , to enjoy great coffee and delicious dessert. Taking home big spelt loaf bread is a must .The staff is friendly , kind and accommodating.
Organic Whole Grain Bakery Cafe in Edmonton! Breadland has a great selection of artisan bread and the coffee was delicious. Lots of seats too!
A nice and quiet atmosphere. The decor is minimal and warm. It's a good place to go for breakfast and some coffee or tea. The pastries are always amazing. I most recently had the spinach and feta croissant. I haven't tried their bread, but the loaves look delicious.
