I’ve had such wonderful experiences at this clinic. From the friendly and welcoming front desk staff to the knowledgeable and caring doctors. The team is always quick, reliable, and efficient, making every visit smooth and stress-free for me and my children.
I’m writing this review to express how deeply disappointed, frustrated, and honestly upset I am with the way this entire situation was handled. I called the pharmacy to ask if they administered the yellow fever vaccine. I was told I needed to come in and see the doctor and that the doctor had the vaccine in his office.nTo be sure, I called again the next day to confirm. I even asked the person on the phone to double-check with the clinic’s receptionist, since the clinic itself rarely answers the phone. I was reassured once again that I could come in to get the vaccine or at least a prescription from the doctor.nTrusting the information I was given, I took an Uber from work during my break, spending money and using up valuable time. When I arrived at the clinic, there was a line. I explained to the receptionist that I had spoken with the pharmacy and was there to see the doctor about the yellow fever vaccine. She took my health card and I waited. After almost an hour , I realized I was going to be late returning to work. I asked the receptionist if I came back the next day, would I be able to see the doctor. She said yes but mentioned they don’t take appointments.nI returned on Sunday, hoping to finally get it sorted out. As soon as I told the new receptionist that I was there to speak with the doctor about the yellow fever vaccine, she immediately said they don’t offer it at that location. When I asked if the doctor could at least give me a prescription, she quickly said no. She was polite and tried to help by suggesting a few travel clinics, but they were all in other towns. I don’t drive and I didn’t have the flexibility to take more time off work, and I needed the vaccine documentation to submit with my visa, so I was on a tight schedule.nI felt completely defeated. I had spent money on multiple Ubers, wasted hours of my time, and was misinformed on more than one occasion. The lack of clear communication caused unnecessary stress and confusion. This could have been avoided with one accurate answer, and I hope the clinic improves communication so others don’t go through the same frustrating experience.
I have been here several times for both myself and my children. I cannot speak highly enough of the amazing, attentive physicians, nurses and administrators. Dr. Abdelhusseih is particularly gentle and patient with young children and infants, making sure they are comfortable and asking thorough questions. The admin team at the front desk are also very friendly and helpful. They were more than patient when my toddler daughter thought that the scale was a giant toy! I really appreciate how fast they are able to work a large number of patients through efficiently too. Thank you, team, for your hard work. My family and I are truly grateful!
Both doctors, Dr. Hussein and Dr. Salman are extremely rude and insensitive. Unfortunately, I keep having to see them because I don’t have a family doctor. They’ve helped me in the past and I won’t forget that and I’m not asking them to hold my hand. But they’ve been rude every time and unhappy to help. I think they forget that they are swiping our OHIP and think we are asking for free help. Every time I leave from there I’m mentally in a worse position than I was when I initially came in. I’m going through something serious right now, it’s been going on for over a month. They barely give us a couple minutes to explain and keep raising their eyebrows when we speak. I watched the doctor spend more time with one of his patients and the ungrateful patient ending up saying “wow he just wasted my time” as he was leaving. Those are the type of people these doctors are nice to. The receptionists are nice though.
Place is managed horribly. Customers enforce line rules, are rude and pushy. The epitome of Brantford's finest citizens use this clinic.nnI'd never take myself or family here again. The staff doesn't enforce rules or regulations, allows customers to make up rules about lines and service as well.nnThe reviews are accurate and this location is horrid; go anywhere else you'll have better experience.
