Brant Hill Inn

I checked in a few hours ago and have found the staff to be helpful, nice, and down to earth thank you to the lady who says she's temporary - she is obviously working hard today. The room is lovely, has a microwave, fridge, coffee, and it's QUIET -- Thank you for your down to earth approach. It's been a rough couple days -- I need this quiet little reprieve!

Terrible and creepy staff. Horrible service, rooms are disgusting blankets have burns and stains, same with towels. They don’t wash bedding only sheets, and there coffee makers are in the bathrooms.. 200 dollars a night? Staying at home might be a cleaner option.Rooms: 1/5

The bedding had burn holes in it the towels had brown stains on them the coffee potsr in mugs were in the bathroom. toilet overflowed no one was there to help us someone showed up half an hour later with a plunger for my husband to do the job himself someone sprayed the AC with so much air freshener or bug spray we had to turn it off and deal with the heat. with a little bit of training and TLC this hotel would be adorable for Dover is a beautiful place to stay .we will be coming back but just on day visits

Rude staff when trying to book a room for a night. Have to be double vax'd to stay in a room near the restaurant. But I can order my food to go. WAFJ. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone that is looking for a place to stay in Port Dover. Many other cleaner and more friendlier places to stay nearby. Big "F" for me on this place!!

My brother spent one night only here over the Christmas holidays. We chose a ground-level room. Everything was extremely satisfactory. The young woman who looked after us from initial reservation to check out was friendly, dedicated and welcoming. The room was a good size and clean. My brother was impressed by the great water pressure of his shower. This may sound like a small thing but it's important. He will definitely stay at the Brant Hill Hotel again next Christmas.

The staff are very friendly and kind but the facility is not up to standards. The WiFi doesn't work at all except for between 3am and 4am. The matresses are very old and have a 1.5 inch of foam to make up for the uncomfortable matresses. The water needs to run for about 5 to 10 minutes before it gets warm and there is no shampoo or conditioner. The room was very large and spacious but overall did not meet the regular expectations of an inn.

My family and I have been coming to the brant hill inn for 24 years now. We have NEVER had a single issue when coming here and always loved our stay. The new lady at the desk was extremely rude right from the start. Then as we were leaving she tells my fiancé and myself that we broke a window in the room. These windows are very old as we would know from coming every single year and he tried to open it at night and it got stuck and cracked a bit. We were told we had to pay an extra $200 for the tiny window that had a crack in it because of their old never updated windows, and she couldn’t even give us a quote or proof that it would cost that much. My whole family found this lady rude as well, and safe to say that unfortunately after 24 years of coming here, we are never coming back. Getting a cottage next year.

Brant Inn is located at the top of Brant Hill in Port Dover Ont. The view is amazing from the dinning room or out door eating area. The breakfast menu is quite adequate. Service is pleasingly friendly and punctual. The food itself is of good standards. It has that peaceful small town feeling and hospitality.

Was charged $300 for smoking in the room . I didn't smoke in the room only rolled a joint then smoked it outside. All legal. Beware of this cash grab, the owner is very shiesty.Rooms: 1/5

Brant hill inn is located in port dover Ontario. It is clean and comfortable. Very close walking distance to beach and downtown. Best are comfortable and rooms and very well kept. I didn't use any services during my stay, but still enjoyed the nights rest.
