Story

We always welcome new patients, and we appreciate your referrals. We offer a complete range of optometric services (full eye health examinations, glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses), as well as specialized services often not generally available at other optometric offices:

* retinal photos and OCT (optical coherence tomography) too!
* laser surgery pre and post-op care
* low vision services
* perceptual testing
* dyslexia assessments.

Children are always welcome. We believe that everyone should start life with the best vision. For those children with learning disabilities, we offer an eye exam service in collaboration with school resources.

I could not believe how thorough the eye exam was, I had never experienced this extensive of an eye exam at other places I have been. The staff made me feel extremely comfortable from the time I walked in the door, until I left. Dr. Murray explained everything in detail as the exam progressed which left me with very few questions. Samantha had a great selection of frames pulled for me to try and made sure the ones I picked were a perfect fit. She explained the lens quality differences that made for a very easy decision in choice. I have received my glasses and have been wearing them for a few days now. I definitely made the right choice as my head moves less trying to find the right focus. I can see so much more clearly!
My first time ever getting glasses! All the staff were incredible. My eyes are sensitive and I twitch a lot and the dr and assistant we’re both great at communicating what was going to happen next. The sales person on the floor was amazing at helping my pick my glasses. They suit my face and look great! 5/5 stars! Thanks everyone!
Went in as I was having issues with my right eye after a contact injury. Received excellent, thorough and prompt care from Dr. Masters. It was quickly recognized things weren’t god and I was referred to an ophthalmologist and had emergency surgery to repair a detached retina. I owe my sight to your team. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful. Thank you!!!!!!!
Deffinatly not impressed! Had an appointment for my daughter and I, took almost 3 hours! I ordered new glasses. Calling is ridiculous because you don't get to speak to a human, they have 4 people on a desk but they can't answer when you call. Inquiring about when my glasses will arrive, I'm not in the system because they spelt my name wrong.
Appointment time was 3:50 PM I arrived 5 minutes early, was left sitting until 4:15 PM when I finally had to approach someone who told me they were very busy and could not guarantee when the doctor could see me, I walked out. Never again will I use this business. Addendum: When I went to another optometrist I found out that Brant Family Eye Care billed OHIP for my eye exam!!!!!! Now I have to wait until December 2023 to have my eyes examined.
At first I liked this place, but at a recent visit I was threatened not to be seen again because I said no to the additional eye scan and if I didn't get my lenses or frames from them.
Tammy assisted my daughter with selecting the right pair of glasses just for her. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Amazing experiences every time we have been there.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE this place! They are so good to me and my daughter. I've been here three times and each time we have a great experience. Madison is the best!
At first I liked this place but each time I go they try to add extra exams and the cost is crazy. Budget minded people should avoid this office. Plus they want us to go every six months for an exam. Every two years should is good until Age 65.
My 12 year old son had an appointment here not too long ago. The resident working made us feel like his vision was very bad, and because of this they wanted to do a series of other tests on him. When the Optometrist came to see him, he wasn't as worried, and just wanted to do a peripheral field test. We booked an appointment for that, then when they called to confirm the appointment I asked what was being done. I wanted to know how much out of pocket I would need. The peripheral test is covered by OHIP, but the other test is at a fee. I had already refused that test. When he went for that appointment they wouldn't continue without the other test at a fee. They told us he wouldn't be provided with a prescription without it. I feel like they bully their patients into spending money. Now we have had 2 appointments and no script for my son. OHIP only covers one appointment. Thanks for nothing Brant Family Eye Care.
