Avenue Medical Centre

I made an appointment my appointment was confirmed. When I got there there is a big long line. There is no way to let them know that I was there. You have to get in the line. You are not allowed even with an appointment you still must stand in line until it's your turn which was by the way 42 minutes after my appointment. I spoke to a couple of the regulars. And I was told booking an appointment is the same thing as just showing up therefore! My booking an appointment was no quicker than if I had a just come in off the street. Ridiculous! They don't give you a number. Nothing shows up on the screen telling you it's your turn. Somebody yells your name. You're supposed to hear it! Apparently no one there enjoys their job! Big disappointment. In the future I guess I will have to go to Paris. Avenue medical center was a huge disappointment

I have been a long time patient here for 40 years. When our family Doctor retired after 30 years things went downhill. We had one Doctor after another and a permanent replacement was hard to find. The clinic seemed to go downhill for a few years and my husband and I considered finding another place but I'm glad we didn't. It must be under new management but I feel its a total turnaround from how it has been the past few years. I'm very happy with Avenue Medical Centre now and never have to wait on hold for long. The staff is great and Dr. Ko is excellent, knowledgeable , professional and available if you need a last minute appointment. I realize this clinic had issues in the past few years but I would highly recommend it now!

1 Star is too much. I was a long time patient with our entire family, called to book a doctors appt and was informed that i was no longer a patient. The lady on the phone was unpleasant and not willing to help in any regard. Would not recommend even calling as it would be a waste of your time. All the 1 star reviews are proof of the poor service. Now we have to find a new doctor.

Very unethical! My mother was unwell and they said she could try the walk-in clinic, but the walk in doctor wasn’t seeing many patients, so no guarantee she’d even be seen. Even after waiting all day for it to open at 5. Then they told me she can’t go to another walk-in because her doctor would get charged. Excuse me?! So her only option is to wait endless hours in emergency or go without care? No other options allowed? You must be joking!

I have been a patient at Avenue medical centre since birth 53 years. I have had 2 new doctors since my doctor retired. I can never get an appointment so I have tried to branch to Natural pathic medicine and trying to just leave a phone message for my doctors office is a joke. Can never get past the front desk who wants your medical history. NONE of your business. You will need to make an appointment to speak to your doctor. Months out. Give me a break. I'm so over this doctors office. Its like pulling teeth to get answers.nnDr Gudgeon you said anytime you need to call and leave a message. Would love to if I could get past the front desk. Your nurse refuses to allow calls to come through to her. All I need is a requisition for blood work and cant even request it. Not acceptable.
