Portway Dentistry

I don't normally write reviews, but I wouldn't want anyone to have a similar bad experience to me. My first visit was great, I had a full exam and cleaning and all the staff was pleasant and kind despite how busy it was. I had an appointment for a filling that I tried to reschedule, but when I called, Laurie the receptionist was extremely rude and aggressive when I kindly asked to reschedule... After explaining my situation her exact words were "Well you should have thought of that before you cancelled..." When I went in for my second appointment I wasn't expecting an amazing experience by any means. But I was rushed, and didn't even get to rinse and spit after getting two fillings done... There was also a huge miscommunication that happened between the two dentists that work there. Originally I was told that I would be getting all three cavities filled during that appointment, and when I showed up a different dentist said that he wouldn't fill the third one. So I was definitely frustrated to say the least... Despite having a terrible experience, I didn't say anything or express my dissatisfaction to anyone. I also made it a point to be extra nice to everyone. However, I will not be returning there again for sure.

I’m pretty shocked at some of these reviews. I really like this office. The girls are always friendly and although yes there is several dentists there because it’s a big office, I’ve yet to see one I wasn’t happy with. I’ve had some bad experiences in the past which is why I switched to Portway and I’m happy I did. They are doing braces for one of my girls too and they’ve been great.

Dental experience with Bukhari was the worst. Could not understand him. only interested on your insurance coverage and money. 2 thumbs down to this man. Worst experience

I highly recommend this establishment, very friendly staff and a very knowledgable dentist. Most importantly put my faith back in dentistry, thanks Dr. Syed Bukhari
