Boxed Inn

Worth visiting here before your move. Lots of variety from boxes to tapes and moving gloves.

Spoke with someone on the phone at the location, never got a chance to get his name. However from the 30 second conversation that I had with him, my first impression has not been good. I called to ask how much a delivery of boxes were and the man that I was speaking with was short and rude- pretty cutting me off with some attitude to top it off. Once he stated how much it cost ($35 for a delivery charge) of boxes that were going to cost $30 total, I let him know that it was a little steep and he didn't waste any time in hanging up on me. Boxed Inn, I'm not sure if this is how you handle your communication with your customers but I'm pretty sure you can step it up a bit- quite a disappointing first impression.

I have used Don and family at The Boxed Inn for my personal home moves and my office moves now for over 10 years and on a total of at least 6 occasions. They have never let me down and the invoice is fair for what you get - great, honest, hard working guys. I recommend The Boxed Inn without hesitation !!!!

I have used Boxed Inn's moving service three times. The first move (July 2012) was great. Well organized, fast and efficient. The second move (Oct 2016) was "ok". I was given a start estimate of 1pm. The truck arrived at 5 pm. The crew was exhausted from putting in a full day. I was told that the previous customer had under estimated her move. I ordered pizza for the crew and the truck was loaded in about 4 hours. As I was temporarily moving my goods to storage and the facility was closed at 9:30 Saturday night, the move was scheduled for the next morning. Inconvenient, but understandable under the circumstances. The owner apologized. No discount was offered. I decided to use Boxed Inn's sevices a third time in May of 2017, but made certain to book a morning start. This move was horrible for a few reasons. The most significant was the attitude towards breaking a leg off my bedroom bureau - a very heavy piece of furniture. The owner promised that someone would come the following week to repair it - but would I call him to remind him! Needless to add - no one came amd I didn't call. Horrible customer service and I figure like the move, any repair would be below par. Definitely advise not to use.

On time, fast and friendly. I'll be using Moved Inn with Boxed Inn after our renos too!
