This hotel is a operating as harm reduction shelter with pets allowed and services available. Unfortunately, some staff are overwhelmed and not very helpful. Our cat was lost in the hotel after being left in the room unattended. SHARON IS AMAZING!!! If you should ever need assistance and aren’t getting anywhere, talk to Sharon. So much thanks for finding our family pet so we could bring him home. He’s happy!: I’m very disappointed that this was not resolved sooner but ever grateful for not giving up and to the people who cared enough to help find him. Blessings
The hotel is located in excellent area. Everything is close by and on walking distance. When I was there, heavy construction work was going on on the streets outside the control of the hotel. Hotel rooms was bit small but overall I enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable and the house keeping was great at keep room clean. Bathroom was roomy and clean. There was mini fridge in the room but no bar. Coffee and tea packets were available. I did not try the breakfast option as there were so many other options around the hotel. The only negative point is that during my stay the place was noisy, even at night when there was no construction work. They need to provide noise isolation. TIP: Try to avoid the front facing rooms over looking Imperial Pub because of noise. Also ask for the top most floor room, you might get good views.
Very nice facilities and staff also the pricing seems very fair for the location. The building is secure once you head to your room as there is a key card required to get past the main level. I have only rated it 4 stars instead of 5 as it took them over a month to reimburse my security deposit. In regards to this if i had not noticed I would have been out the money in general when normally they just put a hold on a card they full out withdrew it from my account then couldnt put it back into that account so had to put it onto a different account. However.... great hotel very clean and comfortable.
VERY Small rooms. Wifi is not included and is $11 a day. All shampoos and soaps smell like citrus cleaning supplies. Queen bed is actually a double, which is fine considering the size of the room. Very clean and modern looking. Use the small space effectively. Helpful staff. Good value.
I paid $200 to stay in a room at this hotel. The room we got was more like a small bachelor apartment. The decor was outdated and all the craftsmanship looked sub par. Our shower didn’t have any body wash in the dispenser, the air conditioner smelled like mould. The staff was not friendly or welcoming. The bed didn’t have fitted sheets so the bedding would come off easily to expose the mattress underneath while you’re sleeping on it. The shower still had clumps of hair in it when we arrived. Wifi was an additional $12 on top of what we already paid! The only towels they provided was two bath towels and nothing else. As far as bare minimum goes, this hotel just scrapes by. Also when we checked out the concierge didn’t even ask us how our stay was, which I think is pretty standard at any good hotel.
We stayed here on our wedding night and it was perfect. With a little extra wait time we were given the best room! They provided me with a place to change out of my wedding dress, a place to go while we waited the museum literally right beside and a bottle of wine with a note. It was the perfect end to our day. Would 100% recommend, the location and staff were fantastic!
Clean, mostly well kept, easy to book and a good location. Would be nice to have a better restaurant option and larger rooms, but honestly it’s not needed there. There are far more positives than negatives including a very comfy bed. I’d suggest asking for a room that’s not on the side facing the Eaton centre my photos are of the view. It’s very very bright and obviously never gets less bright because the signs are on all night. Would definitely recommend!
Hello everyone! This is an important review! This location is currently being used as a homeless shelter and is providing the upmost dignity to our homeless population in need here in the Downtown core. There is a Native girl missing and she was last seen around the hotel... Please help us find her her name is Katt and she has stripe across her nose and little dot tattoos on her face as well as facial piercings The people at the bond hotel are doing amazing work here please keep supporting
Didn't even stay here! Wife made a reservation and we arrived only to find the hotel is a homeless shelter now by a notice on the door and we were told to goto another hotel down the street that would honor our stay by someone standing outside the building. Did not even get an email or phone call or anything to notify us of the change. Terrible customer service. Would never book here. On the bright side the hotel we we were transferred to seemed way nicer.
Location, location, location!!! Steps away from the Eaton centre. Next to Dundas Square. Walking Distance to all of downtown, waterfront, CN tower, arenas, restaurants and the Aquarium. The room itself was very small, however the new trendy updated renovations make up for the size. The bathroom is fully stocked with amenities and the beds are comfortable. The heating/ cooling worked great! Old windows but they operate fine. The front desk staff were pleasant but not in a hurry to welcome new guests. The housekeeping staff were all very friendly and helpful! Parking was challenging as a first time customer. Parking is across the street in a parking garage which was easy once I asked the front desk staff for directions on parking. The parking lot is located under the building in this photo. Loved staying here and will be back in August.
