Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes

Wasn't expecting much for a Kanata strip mall, but it was pretty good. Chocolate shake was the best I've had in a while. Burger was decent, fries were piping hot. I'd come back if I'm in the area.

I heard about Boardwalk from a friend on Instagram and was extremely excited to see that they offered a halal menu. When we first arrived we were greeted with a very nice and colourful decor and the team members were so pleasant and helpful with any and all questions we had about the menu. We ordered the Boardwalk Classic Burger, Hawaiian Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Beef Bacon Cheddar Ranch Fries, Chili Cheese Fries and last but not least a thick and cold Peanut Butter Milkshake. Let me just say that the beef is FRESH and never frozen. This burger was so delicious, seasoned to perfection and juicy - it was one of the best burgers I've had. The chicken was so tender and juicy and I loved the secret sauce and the pineapple - every bite was so flavourful. The fries and their toppings were so generous and tasty. The toppings were all so abundant and full of flavour - I loved the addition of the beef bacon to the dish. Last but not least the milkshake was unbelievably smooth and a wonderful way to end the meal. My experience here was extremely pleasant and I would recommend anyone looking for a delicious burger and fry joint to definitely visit Boardwalk Kanata! 8.99 for a third of a stale chicken breast butterflied and cut up on a bun. We got sweet potato fries too and we’re barely cooked, luckily we were able to toss in the air fryer to make them edible. We had such high hopes :

My friend raved about this place having been twice before so tonight she brought me and what we had was mediocre. The meat was bland and seemed to be of a lower quality. I had the chipotle burger and the one slice of tomato I had in it was almost white and the bun completely squished down. I wish would’ve taken pics. My friend also stated that the burgers tasted different than the previous times she had tried it. Maybe it was just an off night but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again. The cashier was nice though.

This is the third time I have ordered from this place and this is the third time and I’m disappointed. The first time my order was cancelled by the restaurant. The second time the order was OK; and the third time, I paid for $2.49 for sweet potato fries and I barely got half of the fries in my container. I will no longer be ordering from this place. Start caring if you want our business.

We were excited to try this new Halal spot in Kanata. Place is nice and spacious for a burger spot, service was friendly, food was ok nothing special. We got the chilli fries, usually it doesn’t have beans but it did! The chicken spicy burger was ok and we also got the classic… all was fine, nothing special.

Just went to it today. It is a very clean restaurant, the tables, the restroom, and the kitchen is pretty clean. When we made the order, we saw the staff cleaning the grill before starting our order. Food tastes gr8. Service is good and very welcoming and polite. It has lots of halal burger options! Their strawberry and cookies and cream milk shakes are amazing!

Everything was really good. Milkshake had a nice texture and flavour, french fries were terrific, and I really liked the seasoning on the burger patty. I'll be back for sure! Lots of gluten-free options, as well. It seems they take a lot of care for food allergies

With all the burger restaurants in the area I thought I was in for another ho hum meal, but was pleasantly surprised. Really juicy burger , great toppings and delicious bun. Rings were nice and crispy and the whole meal was nice and hot. We will be back for sure.

Just got home with my salad from boardwalk. I ordered the boardwalk salad and I’m super disappointed with what I received. The lettuce looks like it’s been sitting in the container all day and the container itself is barely full for paying $10.00. Won’t be returning that’s for sure
