We recently went into the branch to conduct some business and while doing so the teller Marisa? was very helpful. She saw that we could save $6.95 a month if we made a change to our banking plan. These days every penny counts! Thank you for great customer service.

Very bad customer service, never ever had any people answer the phone or call you back. booked a appointment online with this branch and when I got there, it’s closed! And nobody contact me to cancel the appointment!

Weekday morning and a line-up with 3 people ahead of me and I had to wait almost half an hour. This place is both understaffed and the staff is inadequately trained to problem solve in a timely manner.

I'm currently on day 17 trying to resolve a very simple issue, the staff don't call back, and quite frankly don't seem to care much about the situation as a whole. I look forward to taking my business elsewhere. If you're looking to spend hours upon hours on hold to be hung up on or just plain accomplish nothing then this is the bank for you.

The worst branch I have ever known in Canada. I dont know if this is a issue with other branches of BMO or this is only this branch. Poor customer service and worse than that was that the advisor had zero knowledge. Just wasted my time for an application that took her 20 seconds to say its been declined. They wasted my time and I went to the branch for three times for something that they could easily told me in advance. I will never go to this branch

Have been a customer of this branch for years. The last few years it seems they are consistently understaffed....or they send 5 bankers on lunch together and leave a line of people. Management?!

I find people only post and rate when they encounter a problem. Sure, everyone has their bad days but definitely not a true reflection of who they are. I am simply posting today that in my 28 years of dealing with this same branch, I have always found the staff to be courteous and extremely helpful. I am sure there are plenty of customers like me who feel the same.

I asked for a spending increase for the day. They said no. I went to another branch. They said no prob. My card was then flagged with fraud. This bank wouldn’t call me for. Went to the alliston branch they called for me and had it delt with

I have banked with BMO several decades. Today I went to deposit cert chq and they had to verify, when I asked another girl Victoria to confirm that she knew me she said was standard practice, defending new girl Angela. Angela then said people forge cert cheques but I was only depositing and Victoria should have really stepped in to say, hey I know him. After calling bank to clear chq , she started answering questions for another client in the booth beside me. with another new girl beside her, even though this Angela was new herself. Trouble is that this trainee beside her already had a veteran employee assisting and did not need Angel to interject while not finishing dealing with me. When I asked to stamp my tax bill and she said she didn't have a stamp and would write as legible as a grade school writing until I said any bank stamp with name of Bank will work and she miracuylously had one in her desk. I finally explained how all this was rude and she got arrogant and defensive. Is this how they treat some one who has dealt with BMO for decades? Shame on them. I have good mind to close all accounts and go elsewhere. This branch is terrible now. I am going to call head office and write a few letters if this keeps up.

Pathetic customer service!! First time dealing with this bank. Obtained an RRSP loan a couple of months ago and just called in at 9:50 am to make an extra 1 time lump sump payment against in addition to my regular loan payment. Had to wait 10 minutes on the line before a live person answered. Explained my situation and was told I would be transferred to someone who could help me. Instead I was put back at the beginning of their opening telephone recording response and had to wait another 5 minutes or so. Finally someone answered and after providing the usual information she said she could help me but would need to ask a couple of security questions. I assumed she had these questions on hand but was put back on hold and after 4 minutes or so, I had to take another call and just hung up. In all, wasted about 20 minutes and accomplished nothing. Will be interesting to see if this review actually gets reviewed by BMO staff. Can't wait until I no longer have to deal with this branch!!
