We had a great time playing darts. Bartender was nice. Music was great. Overall nice establishment. I hadn't been in there since it was Oasis!!
This is the second time I’ve paid with card at this bar and was told that they do not have my card upon trying to close it out. The first time I had a friend that works there call me the next day to tell me my card is there. What makes it wrong in my opinion is that at the time I was told it wasn’t there. Now this time I was told the same. That my card isn’t there even though I know I used it. Very unprofessional. This plus the drinks always being overly sweet. I’m convinced the only way this place gets good reviews is because the people reviewing it are so drunk that they don’t notice the unprofessionalism. Very unimpressed with the way they conduct themselves. The first time I ignored the problems as it could be a mistake. This time I’m inclined to say it isn’t a mistake. Wouldn’t recommend anybody go there unless you are so beyond drunk that you can’t tell the difference between Black Saddle and any other bar.
Cute, fun and friendly country bar! Happy hour included spotted cow. Only wish there was food, but was told we could order from other places and have delivered. Will be back!
Amazing experience the bartenders make great drinks and the bouncers are so good at looking out for everyone’s safety! very clean! Been to other bars and this is by far the best!
Good Beer, nice atmosphere, but expected country music since it has a country theme. No country music. It was 11:00 pm, so I understand. They have to cater to their younger clientele. Over, nice place.
Why is it ok for women to wear skimpy outfits but when a man comes with a mesh shirt he gets turned away?? Last I checked we all bleed the same color!! Shame on you for treating my son this way!! Today's world is hard enough as it is why would an establishment like yours make it tougher??? They were just looking to go out and have a good time and were denied by You!! Now I'm not sure if this was a bad decision on your bouncer? Or if this is how you run your bar? Whoevers choice it was, it WAS WRONG!! I'm truly upset about this but I feel more PITY for you Black Saddle Tavern, as you missed out on a great group of young adults that WERE DENIED ENTRY because of a mesh top?????? LOVE IS LOVE!!! I will pray for you all.
My review is from an installers perspective. I have been doing business with the owner for several years, he has gone very much out of his way to make that bar a very well run establishment. He has stopped at nothing to provide good entertainment for his customers. The amount of time and money max has invested in his customers is unreal. We put in all the audio and video and in the last couple years he has upgraded every part of his system to where he has one of the better sounding bars in all the green Bay area. All nice jbl equipment. Max has been awesome to work with over the years and we love to see him be successful.
I had just arrived in town for a business trip. It was a little before midnight and I wanted to walk the strip. The first place I felt comfortable enough to walk into was this place. The place seemed really nice. It was late so I walked toward the door to see what else Green Bay had to offer. And a gentleman asked me if I was okay. I thought that was so sweet of him. I told him I was fine and that I was just exploring. After walking out, I realized there wasn't much more I could explore so I walked back in to get a quick drink and that same gentleman wouldn't let me back in. I thought he was joking. I asked him why and he replied, "Because you're not right in the head tonight, you're spacey." I still thought he was joking. I didn't realize he was the bouncer. He wasn't standing at the entrance. I had made it in a ways. I thought he was some local that frequented the bar and was just playing a joke on me. I looked around to the people standing behind him. A female playing darts said, "You must be high on shrooms or something." My heart sank. I was excited to be in a new city. I was just happy to find a cool little bar. That is not something anyone has ever accused me of. I look back at the guy and he echos the girl. He is asking me to leave because he thinks I'm high. Listen, I get that entrance to places like this are at the discretion of the staff. But, the way that whole scenario played out really hurt my feelings. The joy was knocked out of me for the night. I walked back to my hotel in tears. It's late, I had 2 flights get delayed today. I was just happy to have made it.
Super fun bar. Great bartenders. One of them has an amazing singing voice!
$50 cover change for ONLY GUYS, $5 for girls. When someone who said they identified as female but appeared male, the bouncer told them to pull down their pants…absolutely unacceptable, disgusting, and discriminatory. Should get shut down. Would go zero stars if I could.
