Black River Valley Pub

Fabulous nook along the Black River, close to the Black River Lodge and Airport rd. Family owned with satisfying family recipes and even fresh homemade pizza (that's right, not from frozen) accompanied by a full bar. Super friendly staff. Private and clean restrooms. A small patio for smokers and a beautifully designed door that you should face with strength in mind (its a bit heavy) . Cozy atmosphere and perfect for a quick drink or a full family meal. Owner is also a cook and very personable. Highly recommend if you're in town for the slopes.

Really delicious food, priced very reasonably. We tried the burgers one night and pizza another night. Everything was great and the service was quick and friendly.

Was not impressed. The Friday fish fry was suggested to us. The fish was over cooked, tasted scorched, and very greasy. Our order was wrong, but when we mentioned it, it wasn't corrected and we were still charged. They sat us near the bar in the main aisle of traffic which would have been fine if the waitress hadn't dumped a whole bowl of Cole slaw down my dinner partner's back...didn't even say I am sorry, let me get you a towel, nothing. The food was almost not edible.

Good food, service needed some help, server more interested in cell phone then helping customers.

We are not locals, but we are always treated as if we are. Awesome food and very nice workers!
