Been there twice now and the food was fantastic. We got the oysters both times and I like that you can choose how many you want and you can customize the sauce pairings. The calamari rings and mussels ordered both times in spicy red sauce were delicious. Main courses came out nicely plated, hot, with a good serving size if you had had an appetizer prior. Service was a bit of a miss. For some reason, both times we did not have a drink menu on the table when seated which was annoying. And our server did not come to the table for quite some time. We ended up ordering food then drinks. They were polite and brought everything promptly once ordered but it was a solid 10-15 minutes before we could order. Just need to tighten that up and it would have been 5 star. Loved the inside with the neon signs and live fish tank. The back area was nice and secluded for a date night. Patio was available as well.

They have unbelievably fresh oysters for just $1 each! Along with them are accompanying sauces make them even more delightful. They're the perfect addition to your seafood feast. You can't miss the delicious Moroccan Octopus. It's grilled to perfection, with a wonderful smoky taste and tender texture. The veggies served alongside are also delicious, adding a delightful touch to the dish.

We had a wonderful experience at the Black Pearl in Windermere. It was our first time at this new location, as we have really enjoyed the one downtown. I was impressed by the interior - it was a nautical and cozy atmosphere and the bar was very cool. The service was incredible. The host was personable and kind. Our server Jens was superb. He gave great recommendations and was very articulate. He often checked in on our table to ensure we were enjoying everything and that our drinks were filled and our stomachs were happy. The food was great. I highly recommend the lobster ravioli and the lobster bruschetta - both were delicious. We will definitely be back again.

I’ve been here 3 times and each time it’s been great. They have amazing calamari, I think the best in the city in my opinion! The three layer chocolate cheesecake is amazing too! We had oysters, salmon. Atmosphere is chill and has cool decor.Food: 5/5

This is now my go-to restaurant in Windermere. If you have a love for seafood The Black Pearl will not disappoint. This culinary gem has elevated seafood cuisine to an art form that leaves one mesmerized and craving for more. The menu at The Black Pearl is a true testament to the creativity and culinary expertise of the chef. With a wide array of seafood options to choose from, including a tantalizing selection of oysters, succulent lobster, delicate fish, and a variety of shellfish, it was a challenge to decide what to order. However, with the guidance of the friendly and well-informed waiter, I embarked on a curated tasting adventure. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant make it the most pleasant experience. I highly recommend it!

Food are great you can choose indoor or outdoor seat. A dozen of oysters cost only $12. Pineapple drink is refreshing! Friendly staff. Table is a bit small for placing foods. Good option for people who eat halal food.Food: 5/5

Came to visit family and decided to check out their Windemere location for dinner. Ambiance and decor is nice and a little more upscale. Servers were nice and friendly. We decided to order a caesar to start followed by their PEI organic blue mussels in tomato sauce and pearl pescatore in tomato sauce. Quality and quantity was ok but bit on the pricier side for what you get as I'm comparing it to Vancouver. Overall not bad and would recommend to others to try them out.

Had great service last night and enjoyed some oysters, only negative feed back would be the size of the oysters for the price, other than that, all was great. Also the Mahi Mahi was top notch. Exceptional services and great quality drinks behind the bar. We enjoyed the patio till the flys came out then moved to the cozy indoor ambiance

We had a brilliant time on the Patio at Black Pearl yesterday. The staff is so friendly and Kate, our server, really was so accommodating. She was also fun and funny at the same time. The food was so fresh and the quality was amazing. Try the octopus, enjoy the seafood tower we had the cold one, and go for the lobster flat bread also a great treat with the caviar from the seafood tower.

This place is simply amazing! If you can afford it and have the stomach, go for the King’s Platter ~$270; it has everything from Moroccan Octopus, Lobster, Mussels, Prawns, Oysters, wonderful rice risotto made from seafood stock, etc. Another bonus here is their Lobster pizza which is a great Entree
