We had a group of 7 for dinner on a Friday night. Because we wanted a reservation we ate in the Lounge restaurant and not the bar area. Everyone raved over what they ordered. My salmon was delicious. Drinks were made to order. Our server was fun, funny, efficient, and I would definitely want to sit in his section again.
Service was absolutely amazing, super attentive and friendly. Literally best hamburg in Michigan, onion rings are very good, Irish nacho appetizer is enough for a meal, cheesecake maybe best cheesecake on the planet.wish I could give a I higher rating then 5! View from the patio is amazing.Service: 5/5
Stopped in for lunch while riding the trails in the area. Overall good food, very clean, great atmosphere and they also offer gas for your off road vehicle. There are also rooms for rent here if you happen to be looking for a place to stay.Service: 4/5
We came for our anniversary, Cindy was our waitress and was absolutely wonderful!! I had the Roasted Butternut squash soup it was so delicious. I also had the ribeye it was super tender . My husband loved the walleye.Service: 5/5
The staff was nice and friendly, but I would not stay there again. The bar was always full and lively and there was a great live blues band Sat night. But, Food in the restaurant/bar was too expensive and not good unless you eat fried. The ribeye was grisly. The burger was just okay. The inn is attractive and in a beautiful setting. And I gave 4 stars for atmosphère. I would rate it higher if it had a hot tub or something extra to justify the price. But as a place to stay, it was very basic, about like Super 8, and the price of the room seemed relatively high for the area. There is no housekeeping. I was there 4 days and they did not come by to ask if I needed anything like more towels or take the trash. I think I was the only guest and only person in the inn on Sunday night because there were no cars or evidence of staff. That was eerie because I was travelling alone and there’s not much around. There was no cell phone reception, only Wifi and a land line. Parking lot was a sheet of solid ice and you could easily fall getting to your car. No closet, no hairdryer.
Road the trails and then stopped at the Chateau for a cold drink. Ended up ordering iced tea, water, Diet Coke, and appetizers. Had the Irish Nachos and Onion Rings. Both were cooked just perfectly. The Irish Nachos are really potatoes. Served on a big platter and enough for 4 to share. Friendly service and a great view of Twin Lakes. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and view. Highly recommend! We even topped off our gas tanks.
First time there last Saturday night. Food was really good, the service was stellar as well as the entertainment. The general manager was our waitress and was amazing. What a great experience, this is our new place!Service: 5/5
Enjoyed a fine meal at the Chateau Lounge with my honey last night. Mark, our server was perfectly attentive, gracious. We enjoyed multiple courses, each beautifully presented, perfectly prepared, delicious. The atmosphere is delightfully unfussy for a fine dining establishment. We will be back with guests again and again.Service: 5/5
What an amazing lodge. The food was awesome and the service was fast. Food service personnel were very courteous. Highly recommend here for a nice remote retreat from the big city life.Rooms: 3/5
