Waterways Campground

Very clean, well maintained. Quiet, mostly older season campers. River is fun to kayak. Current not so strong. You can kayak into mullet lake. Nice place to stop if you are heading to Mackinac island.

Beautiful spot on the inland waterway! Bring your boat and enjoy. We love it here. Everything is clean and well kept. The owner is very helpful and works hard to make your stay perfect. This is our first time here, but we’ve already made reservations to come again with friends & family later this summer.

Very nice private campgrounds. Typical size lots. Well maintained. Each site is grass and park like setting. Along the Black River with docks and boat launch. Immaculate restroom and showers. Great recreation room with TV.

Clean campground. If you have a boat they have a launch. Bath houses are clean. There is a swing set and a bike trail near by. We only stayed 2 nights. Some of the other campers/seasonal were not so friendly.

we have been coming here for over 15 years. the camp sites are roomy and level, bathrooms are kept super clean!! The new owner has made a lot of improvements and keeps things looking nice. He is always there if you have a question or if you need help with anything. Super nice guy!! we tell all our friends to come here! a really nice place to camp if you are bringing a boat and want to put it in a dock slip for the weekend. Kid and dog friendly too! Love this place!

We absolutely love this campground. The owner Mark is very welcoming and we are now making it our annual summer trip.

I was visiting from out of town and my vehicle broke down so I had to find a campsite in the area for a few days. This was a very nice campground! The facilities were very clean and the grounds were well kept. There is a nice biking trail behind the campground leading to a beautiful bridge over the river. I was very surprised that I was able to connect to WiFi and get some work done. The Owner "Mark" was very kind and beyond helpful, He even took me to the store because he knew that I had broke down! I couldn't have had a better experience, NO COMPLAINTS what so ever! I will be back here and I highly recommend this place! Good people, Good place!

Boat launch and dock are such a nice bonus! Beautiful bike trail nearby that used to be an old railway. Campsite was well-kept and ran well. Only took a star off because tried to call a couple times and could never speak to anyone. Otherwise had an excellent time!

Decided to take our summer vacation to northern Michigan and picked Waterways because it was centrally located between the places we wanted to visit. Great little campground!! Mark keeps things very clean and well kept. We really liked how quiet it was in the evenings. We would recommend Waterways!!
