Lorenzo's Pizza Parlor

If I could turn back time, Cher....this would be the place to go. Oh wait, I can. I frequented this restaurant with my parents when I was younger and when I recently set foot in there I said, "nothing has changed". Now, that may frighten some, but the bonus is that the food is as excellent as it always was/is. Pizza, fish, prime rib, steak, and ribs, it's all good food; just as I remembered. Personal favorite is the spicy ribs. Steamed/baked, however they cook them, with the spicy BBQ sauce is something I crave. Never have to touch a bone or get sauce on your fingers, you can eat these ribs with a fork. The best! Lorenzo's....Yes, Sir!

Our family has been coming to Lorenzo's for approximately 10 years. The food is delicious. The service is great and very personable. They remember our orders even! We love the fish on Fridays. It really is a northern Michigan staple.

I wish I could respond to other reviews... But honestly, anyone who thinks that the cooks microwave the food here is ridiculous. How would I know, you ask? I've cooked here for 19 years now... Yes, sometimes we may be a bit slow, but look around, and realize that we aren't Applebee's and TWO people put out the entirety of the food, by themselves. And yes, I know exactly what you are talking about. We don't raise the chickens, and sometimes it's a bit dry, through no fault of our own. Order something different, chicken can be a pain. I also remember the night you are complaining about, and she had worked there for months... The waiter can't do absolutely everything on his own when there is a full house, so she had to help. Not everyone can be a server, and obviously after months of training, she couldn't handle it. In conclusion, as you see from all the other extremely positive reviews, yes it may be slow at times... But it's always worth the wait.

Bst prime rib ever on Saturdays. Very friendly staff.

The food is always good. They are only open for dinners Thursday through Sunday.
