Black Creek Pioneer Village is more than a collection of buildings and artifacts. Here, you will become immersed in the lifestyles, customs, and surroundings of early residents who built the foundations for modern Toronto and Ontario at the typical crossroads community village found in the Toronto area during the 1800's.

The village was exceptional! Really neat and well put together. The reason for the 3 star review is that many of the interpreters did not even engage or acknowledge us (lady in the printing press), and others did not have much knowledge about the craft they were interpreting. A few interpreters were great (such as in Major Macs house). Would recommend the park have learning class on how to interpret history.

Everything here is awesome. Except the parking. We had heard that they changed the system, but it wasn't a good change. There is now a little booth that doesn't accept anything but credit card; no cash, no debit. Just credit. That is the one thing that keeps it from 5 stars

My fiance and I had our wedding ceremony here and it was truly a beautiful place to be married (Fisherville chapel). All of our guests had a great time and were able to enjoy the venue after the ceremony had finished. The staff were very helpful and experienced when it came to hosting wedding ceremonies. Thanks so much!

We enjoyed our experience at Halloween Hootany despite the rain. Would have been better with spooky Halloween music throughout the village and Maybe a horse drawn buggy/ carriage rides and more Halloween decor.

We did the night time escape room event that's held there. So awesome. I highly recommend everyone check it out.
