Black Butte Ranch - Resort

The house we stayed in was very nice and updated. One pool was open which was enough for winter use. One downer was none of the hours on the websites matched the actual hours of the facilities. Beautiful, no snow but that's not BB fault.

Very nice facilities, gorgeous location. The house we rented was plenty of space for pur large group and much nicer than we expected. Be careful of the $8 per person per night facility fee. We didn't know about this when we made the reservation and added a significant cost for our large group.

I stayed within Black Butte Ranch at a Vacasa vacation rental home. The Ranch resort property is very large (multiple sub-divisions) and incredibly well-maintained. Only about a 8-10 minute drive away from Sisters, but you feel an eternity away from any semblance of hustle and bustle of modern Life. There is an $8/day/person resort fee (the Ranch main office accepts payment via card), so be prepared for that. The gated community is quiet with a variety of options for fun at the various clubhouses. The bike path system is pretty unbeatable and keeps walkers, bikers, and other such pedestrians out of vehicular traffic along most of the resort's road system. With its own security, fire fighting service, and myriad options for entertainment (indoor and outdoor), I would highly recommend staying at Black Butte Ranch whether you're a family or a group of adults.

Very impressed with our stay at the ranch. The ranch is very large and very hard to see all of it in just a couple of days. You could spend all of your time at the ranch with no need to go anywhere else. Would highly recommend. Probably will return in the future.

Our family comes here every summer and it is a wonderful place! Love the house which we have stayed in for years. Always use the trails, tennis courts, swimming pools, pickle ball courts, and lodge area. Such a lovely and well kept place.
