A nice luxury restaurant at Double Tree by Hilton Montreal is on the sixth floor, same floor as a lobby of the hotel.  Our family has 9 people do we had to book in advance.  The place and atmosphere was nice and elegant. However there was no dress code here.  Service was great.  There were several dishes which were awesome such as fois gras, lamb, fish. Several selections and  of course, pricey.  We paid about 900 CAD for this meal.

Great ambiance. As a local, I really enjoyed to spare time with beautiful place des arts view. It was a bit cold on the terrace, but the friendly staff gave us blankets. It was perfect. The food, awesome, cocktail ok, but I only had one type. Dj set was great ambiance too.

Came to Bivouac while the Montreal jazz festival was happening. The outdoor seating has excellent view for enjoying the festivities.  The manager was BEST. He was kind enough to give us a seat outside after seeing that we were stuck at the bar

Do yourself a favor and visit this amazing restaurant in Montreal. The service is unmatched, Hugo was the best. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. He truly cares about your experience. The food was excellent, great portions! The drinks, equally amazing. The ambience was chill and has a cool vibe to it. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the sights and sounds on St. Catherine Street. They also care about your experience so much that my little 24lb dog was allowed to come with us later in the evening when we came back.  Highly recommend!

Very nice ambiance and dishes. Staff were friendly and attentive. We came in the evening but there are wall length windows that would be a great brunch view. Good for a special occasion.Food: 5/5

Affordable chic restaurant! Instead of waiting in nearby restaurants, Bivouac gave us better experience and shorter wait time. Foods were over the top! Can compare to other starred ones in town for sure. Just the starters were exceptionalFood: 5/5

The first waiter we had was really polite and nice. I didn't like the second one but he only waited us for few minutes. We ordered the cheese board, the charcuterie board and some fries. Everything was really tasty and I had the chance to experience some new types of cheese which was awesome. It's quite expensive but it is a fancy restaurant so that was expected. I want to come back one day and try actual main dishes and desserts here, one day.

Unbelievably wonderful! We had a great dinner! Everything local and delicious! The staff was friendly and made great suggestions. We are so glad we went!

We visited this restaurant on 3 different occasions while staying in Montréal. The staff was always very kind and attentive to our needs. The food was absolutely delicious! The drinks were also great. An overall very pleasant dining experience.

Spectacular views,  great atmosphere,  very good food. I really liked the place for its sleek look, good vibe, fab views and the party atmosphere on its outdoor terrace. We tried a few cocktails; a very good almond-y Amaretto Sour and a light and refreshing watermelon cocktail.  Everything the four of us ordered was tasty,  my fave being the salmon main; a generous portion of fresh moist filet with a crispy skin and perfectly done vegetables. Attentive, pleasant service added to the experience.  I will return, will order the salmon again and the Sancerre wine, too.
