Great customer service every single time . Love Zulfia and her team . Store manager Carlos is a sweetheart . They are so welcoming and accommodating unlike other locations I have visited in the past . Birks staff at Fairview location go above and beyond to make it an enjoyable experience . Zulfia calls me after my purchases just to make sure I am happy with my selection . That’s great customer service . Thank you I stopped by in July and they surprised me for my birthday, they actually remembered! That’s great customer service Keep it up guys . Thank you for you hard work during the pandemic.
Be aware that Birks has moved away from providing services and is now a jewellery store but not a full-service jewellers. They used to provide repairs, resizing etc. for non-Birks items at a cost, but they were reliable but no longer. Before I was told that they didn't do non-Birks jewellery, I did go through several items and spent a few minutes with someone who essentially tried to talk me out of all the repairs anyhow. They also don't provide much in terms of appraisal - it sounded like it was something I could do, but it's clearly not a service they really do anymore. All my heirloom and family jewellery has always been appraised by Birks and we've have always gone there for repairs etc. as needed. They were never super affordable, but had a good name and reputation and I was comfortable paying up. Disappointing that this is no longer an option. Also disappointed that in the several times I've called them they have never mentioned this change in policy and it wasn't until I'd made a special trip that I was notified of this. I'm sure as a jewellery store they're fine - I've had a ring custom made there before but never bought off the shelf.
My relatives and I have purchased a number of items from the Fairview Birks location, most recently a ring for myself. In addition to the jewelry being beautiful and high quality, we have always been impressed with and appreciative of the phenomenal customer service we've received both before and after a purchase. Birks truly stands behind the pieces they sell, and the staff at the Fairview location are incredibly helpful every step of the way. Special thanks to Silva and Carlos, who are always so friendly, patient, and helpful. It is truly a pleasure coming into the store and seeing and speaking with them! I look forward to visiting the store and working with the wonderful staff again in the future.
Love this place - purchased recently a gift for my newborn grandson. Stuff is very professional- always doing there best.
There are not many times in life where you get exceptional customer service but I must say that Arli was unbelievable. She gave me her personal contact number and kept me up to date on a special order I made. I never had to follow up with her as she was always keeping me informed from start to finish. If you are buying from the Birks Fairview location, ask for Arli, she is the best!!!!!!!!! Thank you Arli & Birks for everything
I was very hesitant to go to a Maison Birks store until I had this wonderful conversation with Zulfia. Fast forward -- I went to the store and this team at Fairview Mall are so friendly, and welcoming, and very professional. I really appreciate Zulfia and the other two amazing ladies for making our 10th wedding anniversary so special. This is one milestone I will always cherish. Again, thank you so much!!!
This Birks location has been my family's one and only jewelry store to purchase high end pieces for all occasions. Starting from Carlos the store manager to Arli, Silva, and Raffi they always gave us their honest and best recommendations and opinions when it comes down to selecting the finest pieces. I have been to other locations and no comparison to what this location has to offer in terms of friendliness and professionalism. I recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a small or a major gift purchase.
I have been shopping at Birks Fairview mall for several years now, and love the warm, welcoming atmosphere in the store. The service is superb! Carlos and his team are always extremely helpful and make you feel like you are a family! Looking forward to doing business with them for many more years to come.
My parents, sister, and brother-in-law have been clients at this Birks location for the last few years. My fiancé ended up getting my engagement ring here, and we just ordered our wedding bands a week ago. Overall, Birks at Fairview Mall has a phenomenal selection of high-end jewellery with even more precious people. I highly recommend this location, and only wish that every store and business out there had the kind of service and people that this place does. Silva in particular is phenomenal. She took the time to walk my fiancé and I through the process of wedding rings. Unlike other stores, Silva and this Birks have never been pushy about a sale. They always try to get us the best deal for high quality jewellery. They have always been patient and friendly if we or anyone in my family backtracked about a purchase. Silva is communicative, always answers my questions in store or via e-mail, and is simply a wonderful and friendly person who wants the best for all of her clients. Throughout COVID, they have had to take appointments and limit capacity in the store for obvious reasons. They have been very professional and I never mind waiting in line or to get in because I know they will never rush me through the store in order to get the next client waiting outside. Lastly, Birks has a phenomenal lifetime warranty policy as long as you get your ring inspected every 6 months. My fiancé and I live in Newfoundland, where there is no Birks location and we were worried our policy would be void because COVID prevented us from flying back to Ontario to get the ring inspected. They have been very accommodating and ensured that this would not be a problem. The warranty really is fantastic in case something does happen. I have had family accidentally damage their engagement ring badly and they were able to get the entire band re-cast for free - if the diamond had been lost then they would have replaced it entirely for one of equal or higher value.
I had an excellent experience shopping at this Madison Birks location! Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the store manager Carlos was very helpful in answering all my questions. They even had the watch I was looking for that was unavailable at other jewelry stores and offered a discount on top! Will definitely be a returning customer :
