Great spot for creative donuts! The classic ones were all excellent. Fun to try some unique flavoured ones as well. They also had a gluten free option which was a huge plus for our group!
When we travel, we always like to ask people about their hidden gems and best recommendations for things to do in town. A few people recommended Bigfoot Donuts to us. So we popped in one afternoon while in Courtenay. We went about 1:30pm and they were sold out of donuts. We were fairly shocked. We learned that the next day was their anniversary, and they had some feature donuts for the anniversary celebration, so we decided to return the next morning. We were shocked at the huge line-up of people there and how many donuts people were buying. We ended up buying a mixed 6-pack of donuts, and a bag of coffee beans to go. The donuts were unlike any we've ever had before. Delicious, inspired, interesting, unique. We can see why they are often sold out. Worth a stop when in Courtenay.
What a great place! The atmosphere is very chill, industrial they have lots of drink options from just coffee, to coffee slushies to iced teas and all the goods! And then the donuts! So many classics to choose from and ofcourse a BIG FOOT DONUT!!!! We got the specialty donuts and they did not disappoint so much flavour, fun and craft on them! If you’re a donut fan or a donut connoisseur you must try this place! They are roasting their own beans and selling merch too, one stop shop
Had the GF donuts. Best I've had in 25 years of eating gluten-free. Jay went above and beyond, made me a bulletproof coffee even though they didn't have it on the menu.nOne very happy customer. Couldn't recommend Bigfoot Donuts enough. You won't be dissatisfied. Even the drip coffee is superb
Went for our first visit on one of the busiest days of the week Valentine's DaynStill the service was great and food smelled and looked delicious. Couldn't try it all, so we went back few days later for more. Will definitely be back.
