After reading all the positive reviews, I was really excited to eat here. Unfortunately the meal was pretty disappointing. The broth was bland and both the pork belly and lobster were over cooked. The only saving grace of the meal were the noodles. About a third of the menu was sold out when we arrived around 430, so that also didn’t leave much room for options. Despite the meal itself, the staff were friendly and the place was really clean. Hopefully this was just an off day for the restaurant.

Best place to get ramen in the Valley. The staff puts a lot of work into the food and it shows. Their menu includes vegetarian and gluten free options, plus one free noodle refill!! Really friendly staff and a cozy location. 👍

Best place ever. I love everything they are about and the quality in service, presentation and delicious food. Unique spot that can't be topped. They are my home away from home. Thank you for being AWESOME!!!

I've maybe been to Nikkei ten times over the past year. It truly does capture some of the ramen culture I've tried in Montreal, New York, Tokyo, Kyoto, etc. They do the classics right, I bring my slurping A-game and those noodles always bring along the right amount of broth. The broths are worth picking up the bowl and leaving no drops behind. I've only had one underwhelming experience with their sirloin special but went back the next day to remedy that experience with an order of Shoyu.
