Have been using big John for over 15 or more years now and we won’t consider another realtor. The best in the best in the business by a mile.
We used Big John after many months of having our house on the market. As soon as John and his team took over, we felt we were in the hands of a professional. His confidence and experience put us at ease right away. John was able to guide us in selling our home efficiently and with the results we hoped for. John's team is top notch when it comes to communication and advise. Big John helped us in making the changes we needed to sell our house and after 4 days we sold it! John and his team were great. His knowledge and experience helped sell my home in 2 days. I also worked with Dave Peterson who just like John knows the business inside and out. John and his team have helped us sell and buy 3 houses and 2 rental condos in the Calgary market. Our last house sale in February of this year was the one that concerned us the most as the housing market is not great for sellers and prices are severely depressed, however an opportunity existed that we didn’t want to miss out on and wanted a quick sale if possible. We met with John a couple times before listing the house to review what was needed to get the house in the best shape for selling and to review pricing options and John was honest about the market and what needed to be done to maximize value. Prior to the official listing John and his team started the pre-marketing work and we actually had a showing prior to official listing. Once we were live online the phone app that John's team uses was great for confirming showings and keeping information current on our houses activity and the custom webpage really showed the house to its best. The proof of John’s hard work was that we had a sale complete in 10 days from listing at almost the exact number that John told us we could expect. The follow up work from Cheryl post sale has been fantastic and she does a great job of managing the sale and post sale process. Overall we would easily recommend John and his team for your real estate needs.
Deciding to sell our home in a terrible economy and a buyers market was probably not the best decision but we knew we would need someone with the experience to get us through it. That's why we chose Big John and his team. They were amazing throughout the entire process, answering all our calls and questions in a timely manner, providing regular updates and although we didn't realize it at the time, guiding us through this very emotional process in a non-emotional manner. If you're looking for someone that has been through the good times and the bad times and is still going strong, Big John is your man!
We met Dave Peterson when our daughter and son in law bought a home from him in the spring of 2017. We quickly connected with Dave and gained a lot of respect for his knowledge of the housing industry. When it came time for us to find another home of our own, it was a no brainer to engage Dave. He assisted us with the purchase of a really nice home in Okotoks. His negotiation skills proved to be very worthwhile too. Big John and their team are amazing from beginning to end. I like his no nonsense approach. The best thing is that they supported us even after our house sold and we bought a new one.
