Easily my favorite poke place in Seattle. The bowls are excellent and the service is always great. The signature bowls come with lots of extras which make it a great meal. The bowls are reasonably priced and they are family owned.Food: 5/5
$14 for two proteins. Portion is ok. Tasty but the people who serve the food didn’t wash his hand after playing his phone.
I wanted to like this more than I did. The poke was relatively fresh but a little lacking in flavor. The octopus was previously frozen so the texture was off. I didn't like that the sauces came on the side as it was hard to mix in. Portion size was good. The green tea lava cake was the highlight!
Great poke and consistently super friendly staff! This is my favorite place to pick up poke around the area and definitely a go-to spot of mine. The pricing isn’t bad for the amount of fish they give. I almost always order a 2-protein poke bowl: half rice half greens, salmon and tuna, spicy mayo, and all of the toppings that are free :.
Needed a place nearby to meet a classmate where I can also have dessert while waiting so decided to come here instead of the cafe across the street. It was a good choice for me. The place was relatively quiet even with several tables occupied and BTS music softly piped in. I ordered Chicken Karaage because I love fried chicken! and the two main desserts. It was another winning choice, ding, ding, ding! Love it when I eat out or visit a new place and not get disappointed = The staff was fast and friendly its family owned and operated, the dining area clean. Note that the chairs and benches are wood with no cushions just in case your backside needs support. The karaage was really good. Crispy and flavorful, in small bites and big enough to share. The accompanying Japanese mayo dip has a little heat to it, perfect foil to the greasiness of the dish. The desserts I ordered looked and tasted good. They were plated so prettily that you'd think you were in a fine dining restaurant - not a casual place mainly serving poke. As is typical of East Asian sweets/pastries, these two beauties were not too sweet which I prefer. And anything green tea flavored or infused, I'm in! Go there asap to try it yourselves, you'll be happy diners like we were!
It's fine. It's really pretty good. But not great in any regard. Decent value? If this weren't close to me I would never go.Food: 4/5
Super friendly staff and great dessert. The matcha lava cake is absolutely amazing. The poke was okay. There was very little fish and the fish was super small. Instead the fill the bowl with a ton of rice and veggies. Not the best but the dessert and matcha latte is amazing!
We went to eat in but they were undergoing very loud renovations. The place was cluttered even without Reno stuff. We decided to pay and eat at home. The food was good, and we will go back. Hopefully the experience inside is better next time.
Umami bomb! I had the tan tan udon noodle soup. It was fantastic and virtually ramen. The meaty broth was loaded with umami and was super delicious. The pickled soft-boiled egg was superb! Into my spoon went a noodle, a bit of ground pork, and some broth; every slurp made me smile. The dish is described as spicy, but I did not find it very spicy, just super flavorful. I added some togarashi to some of the spoonfuls and then it was a bit spicy.
Great food and great service ! Been here several times. I had ordered the "Gangnam style beef rice" Very yummy. Most of the Udon and poke bowl dishes are great ! The vegetables roll is very delicious. Serve alcohol too, Japanese style or beer etc Close at 8:30pm , no need for reservation but limited seats .. Good to come with a friend : Please bring covid 19 test card
