Was great customer service, found room for us when our other hotel gave away our room. Best western premiere came threw providing the correct room at a less costly price then previous hotel.nRooms were beautiful, quiet, clean staff was really something special ial. This will be or verno go to every trip work or play. Strongly suggest this hotel. Parking was awesome for our stock trailer!
We have stayed here many times before but this last experience was the worst experience we have had. The room was not necessarily dirty nor disgusting but I work in housekeeping and expect more, sorry. There was dust clogging the bathroom fan, there was dust on top of the fridge, and there was quite a bit of dust on top of items in public areas around the hotel. We used the pull out sofa bed and found a pen and crumbs underneath the bed. The pool was cold, it felt like it had no heating at all. The hot tub had way too much chemical in it which left us and our swimsuits smelling horrendous, to the point it made us nauseous. It made one of us incredibly itchy where they were required to wash themselves numerous times. We do not recommend the restaurant attached to the hotel. We did not enjoy the food, it was over priced for what you got, and the server was not the least bit friendly or welcoming. You’re better off spending your money to have your meals elsewhere, or even bring your own or buy some groceries from the super store across the street, in our opinion. We went to use the lotion to ease our itching from the gross hot tub and found one of the two lotions in the bathroom had been used by a previous guest. We also found it very odd and annoying that there was no clock in the room, and the hotel did not have any when asked. We have found the staff overall at the front desk to not be friendly or welcoming . And lastly we were surprised that when housekeeping “cleaned” our room all they did was take out the trash, even when we had no items on one of the beds, two if you count the sofa bed. I may sound picky but this is coming from a experienced housekeeping
We stayed here this past weekend for a sporting tournament, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired.nThe staff were notably rude. I had an extremely unpleasant interaction when I requested a toaster for our suite which oddly didn’t have one. After waiting over an hour, I called to follow up and was told they didn’t have any available. When I politely pushed back and asked if they could check again, the staff member hung up on me. Ironically, a toaster was delivered shortly after—so clearly one was found.nThe entire left side of the hotel reeks of the restaurant. One morning our room smelled like sausage and bacon, and the next it was grease and onions. It was nauseating and made it hard to stay/sleep in our room.nThere’s also a sign in the elevator stating that if you leave your pajamas on the bed, housekeeping won’t make it up. I found this policy ridiculous, and have never ever heard of this anywhere else I have stayed.nLastly, they charge a $25 fee for a one-hour late checkout. I understand if it’s not possible due to incoming guests, but charging for it when it is available feels like nickel-and-diming.nOverall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless major improvements are made in both service and amenities.
Stayed for 1 night while visiting a relative in the hospital. I’m a BW member and have stayed at various locations nationwide over the years.nnThe front desk were not friendly and the service was not great at least the evening/early morning staff. No water in the gym, no bottled water available for purchase, no fresh coffee available, and the instant coffee machine was broken. Lobby bathrooms were disgusting and it was apparent that they hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a long time.nnSeems to be recently built, but attention to finishes is poor, maintenance and cleanliness is worse.
Overall, a very nice place to stay. The hotel felt friendly, welcoming, and clean when we first arrived, and the staff at the front desk were polite and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.nnMy only complaint is that the room was not cleaned properly the next day, which was a bit disappointing. I did mention this to the front desk, and they handled it well, so I appreciated that.nnStill, a good choice in Vernon with a nice atmosphere just wish the housekeeping was a little more consistent.
