Very bad customer service. I ordered two products during black friday and it took two weeks to receive it after multiple unjustified delays. When the boxes arrived they were both very badly damaged. One is for myself so it doesnt matter as much but the other one is a Christmas gift, it’s completely unacceptable. I asked for best buy to come pick it up and exchange it for one in good condition and after wasting 30m with their customer service I was told they could not do anything and I had to waste more time and carry this huge box around to try and get to their physical store so maybe someone could help out, which I indicated was not possible hence ordering online! but best buy could NOT care less. Don’t bother asking me to contact your customer service in reply to this review, I already did and it’s the worst. Never ordering with Best Buy again, will encourage Amazon next time.
NEVER buying from this store again!!! I went to get a laptop as a Christmas present for my husband. An employee from the geek squad asked me if I wanted the Windows to be set up in the store, to which I agreed as I assumed it would be included in the price. Not only was it not included, but I was overcharged for a yearly subscription, to which I never agreed or was even informed. After I found out I went back to the store to ask if I can have a refund, to which another of the geek squad employees refused. He ABSOLUTELY denied the possibility that any of the employees made me subscribe without my knowledge! He made very disturbing comments about how I need to ask more questions next time and look at what I’m signing. Just for context, I don’t speak any french and both employees were aware of that. He refused to give me refund for the yearly subscription, and said that i can only get my money back for the laptop which I didn’t even receive yet. I asked to get refunded for the laptop, at least, and then he asked me to sign something else in french that I don’t understand. When I asked him to switch the language so I can read what I am about to sign, he couldn’t do it. At this point I had to ask my husband to come and help me get this resolved, ruin my Christmas surprise for him and waste my whole day dealing with this! at this point I had actually wasted whole 2 days dealing with this nonsense. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the name of set employee, as none of them are wearing name tagshow convenient. And the name of the employee who overcharged me the previous day, without my conscient, or without letting me know at any point that I’m getting charged for something, more than the amount of the laptop and taxes is: check the photonThis is in his handwriting, and is either the name or the signature
I recently had a very frustrating experience with Best Buy regarding a faulty Sony headphone I purchased from Carrefour Laval. The headphones had pairing issues, so I decided to return them. On Black Friday, I went to the Best Buy at Dix30, waited in an incredibly long return line for almost an hour, only to be told that their return system wasn’t working that day.nnThe next day, I went to the Best Buy at Laval, where I had originally purchased the headphones. They also claimed that the return system wasn’t working and told me to come back on December 3. When I mentioned that I had received the same excuse the previous day at Dix30, they didn’t offer any solutions.nnInstead of allowing a return, they said I could only exchange the headphones and they didn’t have the same model in stock and gave me a lower-tier model as a replacement!!!!nnThis was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Between long wait times, repeated excuses, and an unhelpful resolution, I’m extremely disappointed with how Best Buy handled this situation.
Purchased a hard drive for $199, found the same one on Amazon for $165. Buys price match is a scam scam scam. They refused to price match because it was not shipped by Amazon. Best Buy is a rip off store only a fool would buy therescam scam scam
Awful service from the customer experience went there to trade in AirPods that didn’t work, 2 weeks later the case opened itself up and I’m left with just the case and 2 missing earbuds. I do not recommend buying their products they are overpriced.
