We bought an irobot with extended warranty and we are told that we will get a full refund if anything happens to it. We went there yesterday and we were told that the item would not be collected we should contact the chat helpline. We contact the store chat helpline and the helpline agent told us to take it to the store with a reference number. I told the man in charge, and he said I should tell the chat help line thank you and end the chat. He came back and said we should go back and contact the manufacturer. First we where not told this is how it will play out when we got the product. Best buy is the one who sold us the warranty and we are covered under best buy warranty. He told us not to come back to the store and said it will take more than a week to fixed this. More than 3 same product returned to the store same day. We bought our own in December, 2023 for over $1300. The app is always jamming, the spinning broomstick cut more than 4 times in a short time and sometimes because the app jams it indicates low battery. We only use it once a week. No refund and he succeeded to waste 1 hr 30mins of our time.
Good store.. shop on line and pickup.. Good store service and friendly. Some staff are more knowledgeable than others, but overall okay.
Quebec max occupation limit is enforced at the store. The disinfectant bottle is extremely small. An employee took off his face shield while talking to me. Thankfully he had a mask on. Lots of socializing among employees behind the counter. Customers don't seem to be a priority. Waited 10 minutes in the cell phone department until someone came buy to ask a question. The cashier was super nice and had a great attitude. Lots of items are overpriced and geared towards ripping off people who aren't tech savy. $59 for a CAT 6 network cable is robbery, any decent retailer shouldn't charge more than $25 for it.
After a very frustrating few days of back and fourth with returns and trying to find things in stock at staples, I gave up and tried this best buy, I was in and out in 5 mins!nService was friendly, smiley and helpful and not pushy.
Disappointing Customer ServicennI visited the Best Buy store in Vaudreuil today to have my speaker repaired under the Best Buy protection plan that I had paid extra for. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.nnThe employee, Alex P., refused to provide the service because I no longer had the USB cable that originally came with the speaker. He claimed it was written in the policy. When I asked him to show me where it was stated, he spent 15 minutes searching on his phone, only to come up empty-handed. Another employee joined the search, but they couldn’t find any such clause either.nnDespite this, Alex remained adamant and unyielding. His response was, “Show me where it isn’t written!” This dismissive and rude attitude left me frustrated and disappointed.nnWhen I requested to speak with a manager, the situation didn’t improve. The manager was rude, cutting me off while I tried to explain the issue. Instead of addressing the protection plan, she printed off the return policy for me to read—even though this was clearly a protection plan matter.nnOverall, I’m deeply dissatisfied with the service I received. Best Buy needs to improve its communication and adherence to policies. As a loyal customer, I expected better. this will be my last BestBuy purchase ever
