I have bought multiple cakes from this bakery and they never fail to impress me. The most recent cake was for my 3 year olds birthday! It was beautiful and so good to eat. Multiple guests asked about where I purchased it from and complimented about how adorable and tasty it was! Highly recommend

This is the second time I have ordered a cake from them and this time was kind of bumpy, but they did phenomenal at fixing it last minute. I didn’t realize or remember from the first time I ordered that you have to call ahead to order/pay in addition to emailing your picture for an edible picture cake. My cake was not ready when I went to pick it up, as I did not call ahead in addition to emailing my picture. They were gracious enough to whip it up on the spot for me and now my 4 year old will be so excited to have a captain America cake for his birthday party.

My family loves dessert, so our cake had to be delicious. As soon as we tried the almond poppy seed cake and buttercream frosting from Bert’s Bakery I knew I wanted Amy to make our wedding cake. Not only was the cake delicious, but the overall design was beautiful and exactly as requested. We wanted fresh berries, and Amy did a great job with incorporating them into the design. The cake was so good it was completely devoured. The picture of my husband giving me cake captured my reaction to him asking “is it good?”, of course! We didn’t want to save the top tier in the freezer for a year, because that is a disservice to the cake. Instead we plan to stop by Bert’s on our anniversary for a slice of fresh cake! My wife and I got married in Battle Creek, MI, which we chose based on venue. We were not from the area and struggled to find a bakery to make us our wedding cake. We wanted a simple white round cake, with rainbow layers on the inside. When we would call around, everyone required an in person meeting to taste cakes, regardless of the style we wanted, or they couldn’t do rainbow layers. When I found Bert’s Bakery, they made the process easy for us. We told them we didn’t mind what flavor, so they could surprise us with any of their choice. The cake arrived and was exactly what we hoped for. The taste was absolutely delicious. I know they also do multi-layer, beautiful wedding cakes, so whether you want something small and simple or large and detailed, I’d recommend their bakery. We took advantage of the delivery option and neither of us had to stress about how to get the cake to the venue. Thank you, Bert’s Bakery! It was perfect and we absolutely loved it.

Recently tries their Cheesecake and it was really good. Its Super rich and sweet but really satisfying at the same time. The Bakery itself is pretty big with a large selection of treats. Unfortunately our Favorite "The Cheesecake" needs to be bought as a whole cake. We wish they would have offered Slices of them as well.

I ordered a gluten free cake for my birthday and it was the BEST gluten free cake I can ever recall having- it was light and moist with a tender crumb. The frosting was amazing— highly recommend!!

It took my husband and I a long time to find a cake baker that we were happy with; I had a very specific vision in mind that I was unwilling to compromise on. We very specifically wanted “Funfettie” cake for our wedding cake flavor with no weird fillings; many bakers in town do not offer this. I also did not want the cake to be pure white as we were going for an antique vintage theme so I wanted the frosting to be off-white with the details in while. Bert’s was happy to accommodate both requests with ease. We also ordered a 2-tier chocolate groom’s cake. Both cakes were beautiful and tasted great; we got many compliments from our guests. We would definitely recommend using Bert’s Bakery!

Hands down the BEST strawberry cheesecake! My aunt got this for our uncle’s birthday! So beautifully presented, It is a baked cheesecake, and when you bite in , you taste the huge difference in quality. You will never eat any other cheesecake! The graham cracker base has this very high quality butter taste, this cake is rich , has the perfect sweetness and is absolutely delicious! I usually have a bite of birthday cakes, but this one made me go for a slice and left me wanting more! I was so surprised I had never been here before, will purchase one for our anniversary that is coming up from here! You guys are outstanding Update we tried their classic cheese cake as well, it is so delicious!!!! Yummm cannot resist!

1st time visiting the bakery. Not overly friendly or helpful staff. I wish they had more sf options. Prices are a little high on their sugar-free goods, but the sf cupcakes and pies are great!!

I have ordered three cakes from Berts on Westnedge and I have been so pleased with how the cakes turned out. The latest one was for a farewell party and the result was absolutely amazing! Not only are the cakes very well decorated but they taste amazing too! I will be recommending Bert’s Bakery to everyone!
