My partner and I love coming to Five Lakes Coffee! The drive thru is really fast and the menu is super diverse depending on what you like. My partner usually gets a Cold Brew with Vanilla Cold foam and Five Lakes version is much better than Starbucks. They have a variety of desert bars and scones as well :
They were real nice & cute coffee shop with nice ppl working inside! I loved multiple size choices and multiple flavors for your latte as well! A guy barista was so nice helping us order for the first time. There were so many tables with power outlets available near by. I’d absolutely come back & recommend to any coffee lovers
Five Lakes Coffee on Main St, Kalamazoo, is roomy, well lit, and with warm and attentive client service. It also has a comfortable parking lot. We come on some Sunday afternoons to play the ancient game of Go with the Kalamazoo Go Club. We feel at home.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Always friendly service. Great coffee, large area to pop on your laptop or chat with a friend. I set meetings there often. Bathroom lock still needs replacement, but the place is cleaner than my house! Sure I am going back. I LOVE their scones. Wheelchair accessibility: Meets or exceeds ADA, having done installations personally.
I have loved 5 Lakes every since we discovered it over a year ago! Clean even the bathroom, modern feel, friendly staff, the coffee is tasty dark roast, the one choice of breakfast sandwich with parm-garlic sauce is SO tasty. We have told many friends about it, as well as have brought family when in town to visit. HOWEVER, we just found out they have donated 20% of earnings to a local anti-abortion agency, so now all of us are having to make decisions about NOT returning. Such a bummer! It's unclear to me whether this was a one-time weekend donation or whether this is the policy for the year. Please clarify. Thanks.
Amazing coffee! Some of the best dark roast I have tried. Way better than Starbucks. The breakfast sandwich’s are also solid. Highly recommend this place!
I go here pretty frequently and get the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel with their garlic sauce on it and a coffee. I love it because the sandwich is always hot and tastes delicious and they always have very friendly service!
One of the best coffee shops in Kalamazoo! I cannot recommend the Five Lakes chain enough, but this location in particular has extremely friendly and helpful employees, like Lizzie, who helped us. Everyone’s drinks were excellent and when we gave them one order incorrectly and realized our mistake they quickly corrected it free of charge. Great place to come for business, meeting a friend, or just enjoying the peace and quiet. Loved it!
I don't frequently come to Five Lakes, but I will definitely be returning! They made my coffee perfect and were extremely polite, energetic, and friendly!Food: 5/5
This place is really annoying and causing problems in the neighborhood behind it. The township made an initial requirement to have a wall up when this location was a McDonalds and a KFC as a sight and sound barrier for local residents as this kind of drive thru business is really invasive. Five Lakes decides WITHOUT TALKING TO RESIDENTS to cut a path in this barrier and place a gate for "foot traffic" while they do nothing to maintain the area behind it the neighborhood does this with volunteers and we have been for years. The property is owned by the road commission and they don't maintain this area we were initially told that the gate would be locked when five lakes is closed. It never is. In fact never once even at 2am has this gate been locked. Instead teens and others use it as a way to trounce through the neighborhood and litter that I have to pick up because they haven't even put a trash can out and, again, neighborhood volunteers maintain this area. This gate was also used as a way for a few teens to escape the police when they shot up the marathon next door and, as a way for them to hop through the neighborhood as they are smoking underage and causing more problems. Thanks five lakes for turning my front yard into a playground for hoodlems.
