This was our first time staying here at Berenten's. My fiance and I enjoyed our tent site as it had a deck for our tent, it also had water on site and of course a BBQ grill as well as a firepit. The scenery was beautiful, and the trails around were cool, but the only down fall is that the washer and dryer doesn't have its own separate water heater, it shares a water heater with both the men & woman's bathrooms. So if you wash a load with hot/warm water you won't have hot water for a shower.(it's only $3.25 to wash and dry one load, which isn't bad. Another crazy fact is they only have one dryer!!!! But yet they have 3 washers!!!! It's INSANE!!!) These are the only down falls. Besides the fact that the breaker in the main fuse box likes to blow occasionally, so be prepared to use a flash light when walking into the bathroom, lol. The owners were pretty rude when pointing out certain things that were going wrong. They seemed like they didn't want to be bothered at all. Oh and another tip,.you can't hang a clothes line either. Hanging a close line while camping is essential!!! This family needs to get themselves in check for Pete's sake!! The only thing that they got going to for them is the price to camp. $35 a day. They also have spots as well for seasonal campers, you can leave your camper there during n the season, and also during off season times the family watches over the property. A family who owns a camper and leaves it there told us it was about 2,200 to 2, 500 for 6 months!! Which is a phenomenal deal if you ask me. But RV people have to use their own bathrooms bc the ONE bath house is only for people with tents!!!!! 98 camp sites and only One BATHROOM!!!!! CRAZY!!!

We started out by booking a site just so we could have electric and water to winterize our camper. Came back the next year for a week and ended up seasonal. Have been there 5 years now and absolutely love it! The owners are super friendly and caring. The other seasonal campers are a second family. It's a very family-friendly campsite, not a lot of crazy partying going on. We love it!!
