This is a true hidden gem of the Ottawa valley! Beautiful location nestled in the woods on the Madawaska River. The menus aren't very stylish and the building itself isn't very fancy but don't let that  fool you because the food is excellent! Good, prompt service too. A real down to earth atmosphere with excellent fresh ingredients, lots of menu choices and reasonable prices (especially considering the quality of food). Wasn't able to experience the live music, but they had a whole summer lineup which is impressive in itself. Five stars was easy for this one! One note: they only take cash so if you don't want to pay a $2 fee for taking money out of the ATM bring enough cash with you.

Beautiful setting, friendly service, OK food.  I wish more places in Canada were like that! There is a lovely little play structure beside the huge riverside patio for kiddos to enjoy while we enjoy a drink! Good variety in the menu, but the veggie stir fry appears made with frozen veggies. Alfredo had great sauce, but lacking the peppers and broccoli as per thr menu.  Delicious salad. We will be back, would be amazing to see live music there!

A blink of an eye and you will miss this one. But well worth the visit. Absolutely amazing place. A true Hidden Gem.
