Great food, great service except when they are slammed during the normal rushes. A true Midwest family owned and operated restaurant. Prices are high for me personally but it is expensive to run a family business this close to a major city so the price is great for what you get. But the key is to go when it’s not right at lunch or dinner. Go before or after. Then you will taste food in the true Chicago style!

Definitely the gem of the area. Fast service nice staff, amazing tasting food. I can't really express how nice of a time I had there. It's not a small inside but it seemed pretty dead. They serve alcohol but I didn't have any. And they have a good selection of grinders. The Parmesan sticks were so good. And I will most likely be back to try the unique pizzas.

Stopped for a quick dinner on our way down I--80. Service was quick and the pizza tasty. I recommend it as a respite for weary, hungry travellers.

We were driving home from Chicago Cubs game (we live in SE Iowa), and decided to stop here for food. Definitely not a disappointment, those Parmesan sticks...to die for!!! I had the steak grinder, husband had ham + cheese grinder, and both were delicious! We have decided this will be our stop from now on when traveling back and forth to/from Chicago area. #hiddengem
