Bellacino's Pizza & Grinders

Stumbled across this restaurant in St. Albans and it was a lovely surprise. The seafood linguine was well cooked, taste fresh and the portion was generous. Good customer service. The mushroom arancini was ok.Food: 5/5

A lovely restaurant to have your lunch at while visiting St.Albans. We walked in without a reservation. We got lucky as while there were plenty of tables, by the time we were leaving they all were occupied. The food was great and the staff very friendly and efficient. Salmon with asparagus and mashed potatoes was delicious. My other half was very happy with her Seabass. Thank you

Visited Aug2022 for lunch al fresco. Superb food, a great wine list, excellent service and an unbeatable location. Located in French Row, St Albans, the restaurant has limited outdoor space to use and has found furniture that fits just right. For outdoor diners, the location is ideal for people-watching while munching. The food is excellent, well-cooked, packed full of flavour and in generously portions. The beef ragu or bolognaise sauce, seems to be the same has a deep, savoury flavour, packed with umami. The rizotto di mare was rich and strongly flavoured with a large number of mussels. The wine sampled today was a merlot from Veneto which matched the beef ragu the wine was not tested with the rizotto di mare. Glorious.

Very nice restaurant and lovely staff, the food is delicious like home made italian food ! loved it. For the third time, and I absolutely love the food and the service. The staff are so friendly and genuinely kind. Thank you for being patient with asking for what’s not on the menu and always dealing with a smile. Plus food is so delicious!

I’m giving one star just for amazing young lady serving us… apart that I’d say most of it went wrong… starting with the set of two course meal price , they add £4 each person for the food even for the discounted special daily deal… the food was completely tasteless and the owner so rude to her members of staff. Unfortunately the young lady has finished her shift before we left the place, big thank you to her, brightening the place.

Been visiting this cafe/restaurant since 2016 and it has always been a delight to go there. From amazing coffee to delicious meals, the cosy and friendly atmosphere and staff are always a treat! Great if you want a quick tasty lunch or dinner with friends! I was very happy to see the place buzzing with customers after the tumultuous year of 2020, definitely going back again!

The most outstanding Italian! Best I've tasted in years. Found this place from a disappointing Zizi review about their service and compelling dinners to walk the distance and find an amazing experience. They were not wrong and nothing disappointed. Accommodating of children's portion sizes and pasta changes, ordered a variety of dishes and every one of them was packed with authentic flavour and so filling. I'm here from Cornwall for other reasons but I'd happily say it's worth the drive for this.

Wasn't satisfied with the quality of the food bland seafood linguine -/only 3 prawns tasteless overpriced and misleading customer information on the menu. Charge £4 extra for linguine & Chicken Milanese!! The atmosphere wasn't great! Spoiled our visit to St Alban's wouldn't recommend this place at all. The only good thing was the young girl waitress was very polite and attentive!

Really nice Italian restaurant with outdoor seating. Good service. Great pizza and ravioli.
