First time trying Indian food and the experience here was outstanding. Food was fresh, full of flavor, and the staff was excellent. Can't recommend enough.
This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever eaten at. The spices and seasoning is perfect. My favorite dish is the lentil soup. I also enjoyed their eggplant dish and their potatoes in spinach sauce dish. The naan is also the best Ive ever had, crisp and buttered, not too sweet. I really liked the sweet naan with raisins too. And the meat samosas.
First time trying this place. Their food is good, but our experience with a large carry out order was dreadful. Ordered a few days in advance for a party I was planning, and the order was confirmed by the restaurant shortly after. When we arrived a few minutes after the designated pickup time on Saturday, they hadn’t even started our large order. My friend waited over 10 minutes to be acknowledged, we didn’t receive ANY naan. For our Indian takeout… In the end she got our entrees over an hour late and they were not apologetic about any of this. In fact they were rather rude. I would’ve appreciated a simple phone call earlier in the day to say they didn’t have naan or that we shouldn’t arrive so close to the designated time since they were so far behind. Just some communication and an apology would’ve changed our experience and I would not have felt the need to leave this review at all. Would not recommend and won’t order from them again.
Had to come back to this post and give them a 1 star. Yes the food was amazing! Sadly I found out my husben smashed A cockroach that day. I hope they can solve this problem because the food is amazing.
We had the place pretty much to ourselves. There were some people picking up take out but we enjoyed a variety of food which was all amazing. Service was spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Thanks!Food: 5/5

This review is for the Curry Kitchen in Muskegon Mi. Please do not patronize this establishment. It is unsanitary, unprofessional, and they do not give you everything you paid for! After paying for my meal the lady at the counter basically tried to strong arm me for a tip, while being very rude! She accused me of stealing my credit card due to the fact that the name on the card had a girl sounding name. She maliciously tried not giving me my receipt so she could manipulate the payment and give herself a tip without my consent! I had to almost threaten her to give me my receipt! While walking out of the restaurant she yells out, “We work for tips around here!” Do not waste your hard earned money at this restaurant!
I frequent the Curry Kitchen when I am wanting authentic, flavorful and comfort food. They have yet to disappoint. I ordered the Kashmiri Tikka, Aloo Cheesy Naan, and the incredibly Divine Mango Lassi. Everything lived up to the description on the menu along with anything you've ever heard about the robust flavors of East Indian Food. The customer service is friendly, conversationalists, and professional. I was informed that my dish didn't come with rice, and asked if I would like some. Of course I said yes; and was brought out fresh rice. There aren't many reliably delicious and consistent places around. The Curry Kitchen is consistently a warm, welcoming, delicious place to catch up with fam or friends over an amazing meal. I give The Curry Kitchen 5 Stars and Highly recommend them. My ONLY complaint is a few things actually. 1. Are you or are you not, open on Saturdays or Mondays? Because I like to call out for food. There's been a few times where Noone answers the phone on Saturdays. Nor on Mondays. 2. Along with 1; update your schedule. 3. STOP putting Ice in the Mango Lassi. I've never heard of Ice going into a Mango Lassi. Are you trying to make us think we're getting a full cup by putting ice in it? PLEASE stop.
This was such a disappointing experience. We had visited Curry Kitchen 2 years ago and loved their Naan Pizzas. However, today's experience was horrible and I would not recommend. The naan pizzas are now nearly double the price as before, so around $14 or $15 per pizza instead of $7 or $8. You can still see the prices crossed out in sharpie on the menus. We ordered the Paneer Tikka Pizza and the Butter Chicken Pizza and they were severely lackluster. Both of the naans itself did not taste like naan - it was dry and thin like a normal pizza the previous tasted delicious and spongy. The paneer tasted dry, crumbly and not fresh as though it was about to spoil. The butter chicken pizza did not even use the correct sauce butter chicken sauce and the chicken was very try and tasted like Asian Buffet teriyaki chicken. Both the chicken and paneer were just tossed on top of the pizza instead of coated in sauce and overall so unappetizing. The waitstaff blond lady with glasses was also incredibly rude. Upon entering the restaurant, instead of welcoming guests into the space, she asked us loudly "CAN I HELP YOU?". As though I would be coming to a restaurant to do anything but to eat. The restaurant was also freezing cold and nearly empty on a Saturday at noon. When she noticed that I did not eat the paneer, she asked why and instead of acknowledging the issue, proceeded to patronizingly tell me that it was different because it's handmade and that I didn't know what paneer tasted like because this was not like a normal cheese. I assure you that I've had paneer before many times and know that it is not "normal cheese". Never have I tasted such a disgusting paneer. I hope that I've saved myself from food poisoning here by not eating it. She also did not offer any way to improve my experience. I'm not sure if the original owners left or what happened, but I'm so sad that this place has gone downhill so badly. For such an price and the bad attitude of the staff, you'd be much better taking your business elsewhere. We will not be returning here.
Great service and atmosphere, authenticity, spices were on point! Will be traveling back to Muskegon from Ann Arbor to eat here again after another beautiful sunset on the dunes.Recommended dishesVegetable Samosa, Garlic Naan, Lentil Soup, Chicken Korma, Curry
