Pretty fun place that has a nice atmosphere great service and good selection of beers. The food in my opinion while good was mediocre at best. We tried the chicken chunks, fries and French Onion soup. All were good, I'd eat them again, but, not outstandingly great where I need to come back right away. Having said that we will be back to give their Pizza a try and maybe I should have tried some of their German favorites. Considering that overall food options are quite sparse in the area this place is still worth seeking out if your around. Having said that, I would go out of my way.
Great ambiance and service. The cauliflower burger was delicious and the Rueben very tasty! The deep dish pizza was a bit underdone. We prefer their regular pizzas.
First time dining here; sat outside on a beautiful day on the covered patio with friends and a few beers. I ordered the BBQ bacon burger with fries and was very pleased with the somewhat zesty and tangy taste of the sauce and the burger was grilled just right. I’m scoring a 4 out of 5.
Great place to stop in for wings and pizza. Their wings are pretty big. Ordered them naked with Carolina BBQ and the house whiskey bbq sauce. It was great. Service was great, they did get my tropical berry Lemonade incorrect, but fixed it. Also got the house special pizzadeep dish. It was really good. You can substitute ingredients as well. Will be back if I'm in town. Dietary restrictions: I don't eat pork, so they had chicken and beef options.
Beer Barrel is dangerously close to doing this thing that The Cheesecake Factory does, in that it has an 800 page menu, which several types of foods, that is overwhelming, making it impossible to make a decision. Like my dad always says, you can’t be great at one thing when you’re too busy trying to be alright at 10 things. That said, I have come to enjoy stopping in while I’m at the mall, and I want to begin with a REALLY IMPORTANT TIP. It always appears to be a busy place, but there’s a small bourbon room across from the host stand that offers a full bar, full menu, and no one is ever in there. It’s only for adults and a fantastic private spot. I get the same thing every time, to start: Flaming Saganaki Crispy Thai Spring rolls Cheese Wedges For our entree we love to split the San Antonio White Chicken Pizza, it can feed two people.
My husband received a gift card from his work for this place so we decided to try it out after an appointment. I'm very, very critical of pizza, especially anything noted as deep dish as I've had Pequods and Lou Malnati's in Chicago. Most places out here screw it up but not this place! My husband had the meat lovers deep dish and I had the thin crust I know, I know it was not deep dish Thai Chicken. Both pizzas were phenomenal and our server, Jo, was awesome! Given pricing for true deep dish pizza comparable to someplace local like Pizza Papalis they were fairly evenly priced. Two 14" pizzas, pulled pork nachos, and two drinks was around $79. I think this might be our new go-to in the area.
Had a wonderful time here with some friends for a birthday gathering. The staff was prompt with their service, pleasant to talk to and the food was delightful, I have met other friends here for dinner and drinks. I will definitely be coming here more often.Food: 5/5
The best deep dish pizza i have ever had. No contest. So the staff is amazing. A wonderful group of people. On top of their jobs. You get the feeling these people actually care about your experience here and that feels great. Even at their busiest, you feel like a valued guest. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Looking foward to going back.
We came here for drinks and appetizers on a Saturday night around 930pm and it was completely empty! We got seated right away and had great service. I would absolutely come back here. There is a great drink menu and lots of good food choices. I've definitely had better giant pretzels, but the pizza was good. My only complaint was that the music was really loud.
Absolutely delicious and amazingly priced perfectly proportion. I got the barbecue bacon burger and it was absolutely delicious my husband got the blue cheeseburger and he loved it.Food: 5/5
