Wonderful place to go walking, hiking, running and biking. I love the new trails in the back area. Only part is I wish people would clean up after the dogs. I know it isn't the people who clean the state parks job to do it. So for all those people who are being gross about it just clean up after your dogs they even give you bags.

Excellent rest room facilities. The visitor center is a small natural history museum, with dozens of taxidermied native Wyoming animals. There is everything from big game to raptors, rodents, and riparian species.

Easy on and off, next to a Pilot gas, and a gorgeous fun place to camp...or to just stop at the adjecent Rest Area. Clean and well lit, no overnite camping but there's a dump station, free. Two little penned areas for pets, and a big field for dogs if yours is off leash. AND....if you are the trucker, who bought a meal and a coffee for the older guy with a sign asking for a ride, then THANK YOU! You are the kind of person who reminds me just how good we all should be! I will do it for the next guy, and hope it passes along!

Very pretty rest area for travelers. For Rvers, there is a free dump station donations are accepted. Also has information office. Easy in/out access. Well kept. Restrooms are clean. Would recommend for a break from driving.
