The staff handles online books, named Tanner was super rude. I needed to return a book the teacher upload the wrong link and I and other students bought the different book. As soon as I started speaking, he interrupted me and said that he doesn’t understand me. He was aggressive and refused me to return a book without providing a reason, and hang up on me twice. I called the bookstore general line here but nobody answered the phone and no callbacks. It is the same as an outgoing line. I think it’s their poor customer service because of the poor management. Luckily I didn't need to buy the textbook after that. If I need, I will buy from Amazon or elsewhere.

Very helpful staff, needed some supplies for my drafting and AutoCAD courses and they were able to show me the map where textbooks for each course were located and direct me to the rest of the supplies I needed

Good products, as expected more pricey than normal but not too bad. Student Association got to make ends meet after all.

It's OK. Has some basics like all your course books and pens. Could have more selection with notebooks

I have couple of complaints about this book store, first, about the hours that they are open , they open from 9 am to 4 pm. If any student have part time courses that mostly start after 5 pm, how can these students buy books ? Bookstore is close at this time. Specially for me and other student like me that working full time ,we can't come during weekdays, also they are close Saturdays too. Second , if you buy book from Burnaby bookstore and want to return it under the return policy means book is new , not opened , and under one week you bought in downtown bookstore, the downtown book store staff won't return it and they told me I have to return it to Burnaby store that I bought it and it is not acceptable, also downtown bookstore staff not nice people , not familiar with their own policies and they behavior is not nice to students. If I can buy my books from Amazon or other store , I will buy from them , not any more from this bookstore.

Good place to quickly buy something needed before class. Always have those weird but cool Knick knacks you can get for no apparent reason. Wish textbooks were cheaper though.....

Clean and organized location. Staff were helpful and accommodating. If you don't have the book you're looking for, you can order it online. Make sure to check right away because it might take a while

Do you have a spare thousand dollars? Did you ever want to spend it supporting an outdated idea sold in the guise of providing education? Is so this is the place to waste money on books you will use 3-4 times and then recycle. I just reread jurrasic park last month, it still costs $10 and when I'm done I gave it to a friend. The great news is that when they read it all the chapters and information are in the same order as their friends copy from last year. Welcome to an environment disaster where we murder as many trees as possible to ensure you can not possibly reuse a text book. But think of the poor authors, they hard lives being lawyers and professors. If we don't give them hundreds of dollars each they will only have their six figure salaries and pensions to keep the lights on. Hey the good news is some text books are now available as grossly over priced PDFs where 1 out of every 2 attempts to log in will fail. Feel good in supporting a system of education developed a century ago, I know it keeps my calm and I don't have a stroke dealing with every step of this "education" process.

I totally recomend this place, the discount is really good. All the backpacks, laptip/tablet cases are half price, and the school supplies are half price. Really awesome book store 5/5!!!
