I have been a loyal customer to Artel for years and have always enjoyed browsing (and buying) their selections until today.  Last week I bought a set of funky designed index cards as I didn't have enough leftover from last year.  In fact, they didn't have them out front so Micky (Asian lady) went to the back and brought them out for me.   When I opened them up they were blank, not lined.  So I went to return them today and was told (by Micky) that since they were opened, they can't be returned.  Fair enough, but, I was absolutely shocked at how I was spoken to and the tone in her voice.  She basically said that is was entirely my fault and I should have read the package before opening them up.  No smile, nothing.  She said that they are a small business and how will they ever make money?  Well, sorry to tell you but small businesses make their money by loyal customers that are spoken to properly.  I know that I should have read the package beforehand but seriously...  to be spoken to in such a manner?  Not a very kind lady.  I don't know how they are still in business.  After several years (20 yrs of teaching) and shopping here, I will never go here again.  Take your money elsewhere teachers.

Artel Education was an awesome find! Friendly staff and the prices were unbeatable! Great for anyone who is looking for educational books, posters, school gear, etc! Artel is a mecca for those seeking knowledge!!!!
