BCAA Auto Service Centre

check engine light on, they take my car allllll day and end up just turning off the warning light and say come back when it comes back on. came back on a couple days later, called and asked them to give me a call back and they never did. over 100$ for nothing and i was in just before this to get other stuff done. time for oil change, not going to BCAA....

I have been phoning to try to make an appointment. I was on hold with the automatic answering service for 12 minutes earlier but could not hold any longer. I have now been on hold again for 19 minutes! The automatic answering service keeps telling me my call is important - how am I supposed to believe that!!

A Young friend who has a 2002 Toyota Echo had a No start Problem, His Dad Charged the Battery Still a click noise when turning the key, call tow truck to get it recover to BCAA Service Centre Penticton, The Tow truck driver said it's your Starter Motor, BCAA Called to say it's the Starter and the repair cost would be $670. As People know that I used to be in the trade, a friend of this young guy called me for advice, I called around to price a starter, most expensive was $280, the Cheep one was $178. I bought one and told him I would go do the simple replacement no more than 1/2 hour.Went to get the car from BCAA who now charging him $140 for Diagnostic , I went to the car, asked the tech to turn the key while I hit the starter with a hammer, this jumps the sticky starter pinion to turn thus you can get it to start the car. BCAA you should get better training for your tech persons. Don't trust any one in this trade, It's all for the Money, BCAA Management just had a meeting this week on how to increase prices and profit not Customer Care. Like all BIG Business in Canada Customer Satisfaction is Zero. On ending I feel for the front line people who have to do as the company tells them. MANAGEMENT TAKE NOTE. Google should give a ZERO Star Rating .
