This place is simply the best BBQ in Mchenry County. Friendly staff and great menu. The smoked bbq plates are excellent. Prices are reasonable and the bar is well stocked with a good variety. Minus one star because it’s always been too crowded and a wait every time I’m there. Time to expand!

When the three of us walked in we weren't sure we were going to be able to sit together. It was pretty crowded on a Sunday evening and they only have a few tables big enough to seat four. We decided to go to the counter to place our order and see what became available. The staff was very friendly and helpful walking us through the ordering process. After we grabbed our drinks and headed to find a table one was just opening up. The staff was on it immediately getting it cleared and cleaned for us. We waited about 7-8 minutes and they brought us our food. Everyone LOVED their food. The portions we're healthy, hot and delicious! I had the "Pig-Out" which gives you 3 meat choices and 3 side choices. I went with pulled pork, smoked sausage, sliced beef brisket, mac-n-cheese, fries, and baked beans. The sliced brisket is only available after 5 and well worth it. Baked beans are made with chunks of meat in there. Delicious. Everything was outstanding and I even had some to bring home for lunch tomorrow. We will definitely be going back again.

The food was delicious. We were a little confused about the service. We thought we had a waitress but it turns out you have to go up to the counter to order and it's a pretty self-service type restaurant.

We come here all the time! Great food, atmosphere and service. What more can you ask for!

The BBQ was good, but the service stinks. I made a super simple request, they refused to accommodate me. I spent good money, and was willing to spend extra. This is a prime example of taking care to see that the customer is satisfied. Not here though! I won't go back again. It's not the only game in town any longer...
