The missus and I along with our boys visited bbq Chicken for a birthday celebration. With the proliferation of different fried chicken businesses opening up in the Lower Mainland, the missus remarked it would be a bad time to be a chicken. However, seeing bbq Chicken had opened recently and we had tried Korean chicken before, it was an opportunity to compare. The dining area was relatively small but the restaurant was very busy with take away orders. Our waiter was very attentive and service was excellent. To start, we had a wings appetizer and a complimentary order of fries. We ordered the boneless chicken soy garlic & spicy along with an extra order of cheesling fries plus a corn salad. The fries and chicken were very tasty and delicious. However, the corn salad was lacking due to the size of the serving and it tasted like just boiled frozen corn. I would certainly recommend bbq Chicken for a change from your "normal" fried chicken.
Great little place for some Korean fried chicken and other Korean food! The happy hour menu is small but good variety. The staff is so so nice and attentive. The seating area is a bit small, but they were able to fit in a couple of TVs and such. We will definitely come back again. Parking: Free street parking on Hastings during non-peak hours. Free street parking on street parallel to Hastings. Free parking lots on Gilmore and side street.
Walking around the neighbourhood, my wife and I discovered this place, so we decided to give it a try. The order see the captions of the photos was enough for us. The food was great! The golden fried chicken came out really really hot but it was very juicy and crispy. The secret sauce chicken was tasty and a bit spicy, but because it was saucy it loses its crispiness . The pulled chicken burger was delicious albeit surprisingly spicy . The place is small. I think there are five sets of tables plus six seating booths. This would be a good place to go with 3 of your friends. If you have a family, I don’t think it’s a place where small children can easily be seated.
Delicious korean chickens, i like their soy and original flavored chicken I ordered online and they have combo meals where you can order mix 2 flavors and you choose either bone in or boneless. I like their boneless chicken. Pickled Radish can be improved.Food: 4/5
What makes this place standout from other Korean fried chicken restaurants is the flavours and apies. The cheese balls were really tasty, fries were ok, but the Galbi chicken wings stood out the most. Definitely a must try.

Korean chicken was good. Food prices are lower than what you would get downtown. Pretty affordable. I would recommend since it's just a straight drive down East Hastings If sensitive to spicy, be extra careful when ordering. Some options that people say aren't spicy actually are. It's just the culture, they like spicy food.

It's great to have a Korean fried chicken restaurant in the Heights area that also offers delicious appetizers, snacks and korean style dishes. Our group of 4 ordered their fried chicken in two flavours golden fried and secret sauce, cheeseling fries, assorted cheese balls, and Korean rice cakes. I preferred the golden fried chicken. Enjoyed all the dishes and would come back again.
