Bay Club World Health

The room was small though very nicely designed. The TV didn't work well. The bathroom was just right, the water very hot. There was a coffee maker without any coffee in the room. The beds were hard and very comfortable. The staff was great working with so many guests, as the hotel was full. It is a beautiful hotel, the grounds are well taken care of. The ship design gave the atmosphere of being immersed in a Disney experience. I highly recommend this hotel. Food & drinks: The food in the restaurant was not very tasty. I didn't enjoy the food in the restaurants in the park either. It was mediocre. Noteworthy details: I wish there was a nice lobby, that was missing. The taped segull sounds at the entrance were sweet.

This was my second time staying here at Disney's Newport Bay Club for twenty years ago when I was with my parents. Now this was the first time with my wife and daughter and in my opinion, this is probably one of the best hotels in the Disneyland Resort. Even though it is an older hotel the atmosphere is still great and open with delightful decorations. The staff are friendly and helpful although there a complication with the English language. The security personnel though are not so much friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good with a nice buffet both morning and evening. The indoor swimming pool although was chilly, so we can not recommend that unless it is in the warmer season and the sauna are way to small. The hotel rooms are good and descent. The TV never really works and expect the cleaning personnel to change everything even though you haven’t asked for it. Not really environment friendly. If you are planning to stay, here make sure to get a view over the lake area.

Lovely hotel! The attention to details was far amazing! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and confortable. Breakfast was good. The location was perfect, about 10 minutes walking around a nice lake to get to Disneyland. Everything was great! I really loved staying here. I did not want to leave!

Nice hotel, although it could do with a new coat of paint in a few places. Some of the paintwork and wallpaper is damaged in places. It's not terrible, but does take the shine off the place a little bit. Room was nice enough. We didn't spend much time in there though, mostly just going back to the room late at night to shower and sleep. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Rooms have AC, a small safe, iron/ironing board, a small kettle, and coffee machine available. Nice and clean room overall. Bar and pool in the hotel were both very nice, as is the gift shop downstairs in the reception area. *Note; this is not a complaint, but just a warning to those thinking of booking here. It is a VERY large hotel. If you book here, you may get a room that is quite a long walk from the lifts/reception area. If you're walking around the parks all day, an extra 5-10 mins of walking in the hotel won't make much difference - but if you have young children, elderly, or disabled persons with your group, it may be worth requesting a room closer to the central area of the hotel.*

Great location, walking distance to the parks. Cocktails a bit on the dear side but a nice treat. Breakfast are good, plenty of choice. The yacht club was really good for evening meal. Clean rooms although they did forget to clean our room on one of the days 6 day stay but did provide clean towels within 10 mins. Not the 1st time we have stayed there and would definitely stay again.

Really nice hotel. Huge inside and out. Really handy to get to the parks with about a 5min walk. Also runs a bus service but the walk is quicker. Very good bar staff and very friendly. The rooms and some of the hall decor could do with some updating and the stairs could use a clean but with the amount of footfall it would be hard to find a good time.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience of our first time staying in a Disney hotel. The room was spacious and clean with everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful. A character was on hand each evening for pics. The bar stayed open until 1am for post-park pick me ups. The nautical theme is well maintained throughout the hotel. It's just a 5-10min walk to Disney Village and a 15-20min walk to the parks. Our 6 year old managed the walk quite comfortably. There is also a shuttle bus for those less able to walk but timing wise it's about the same.

Very pleasant stay, the food was good and the pool was nice - plus, hey, Disneyland Paris. The only niggle is that we booked one room for four of us and honestly the two beds provided were both too small for that. If it had been one proper double and one narrow double then perhaps, but both narrow doubles doesn't work and I don't think one should sell things that don't work. Still good overall though.

Compass club worth your money? Let's start positive, a huge shout out to 2 teams. First the valet service, they really made it into a magical experience. Secondly the animation teams, you can see that they enjoy doing their job. We requested a baby blanket at the compass club service desk on our first day. We were told no problem it will be delivered to your room tonight. No blanket was delivered so we had to use a bath towel as a blanket, i guess that's the compass club experience having your child sleep as a homeless person.. 2 day in the morning we asked again for a blanket and again friendly been told it surely will be delivered that day. You guessed it no blanket, luckily I bought a fleece blanket in the park just to be sure.. Since this affected my child and not me this really affected our mood and made it absolutely not a magical experience as I woke up 2 days angry that promises made aren't followed up on by staff. Mentioning this as the check out the person at the compass club service desk didn't cared at all and pointed to the housekeeping manager instead of taking responsibility as they my first point of contact. The not interested face and posture this person made really got to me as if they had your money in the pocket and you don't matter at all anymore. I take it as an expensive life lesson and share it with you.

We are here now. When we arrived the safe in the room was locked open and there was a dirty sock from the previous guests beside the bed. Check in was a little chaotic but staff friendly. On our second day we asked the reception to fix the safe & said somebody needed to be in the room for this to happen. Even though house keeping had been in? Issue was resolved with the safe & later that day around 5pm a member of housekeeping just walked into our room & started looking around. She was definitely surprised to see anyone in the room and ran out without saying a thing when I made eye contact with her, was really odd. That made us feel a little uneasy in this hotel. The facilities are fine but this is not a 4 star hotel. 1 ply toilet roll and decor in the rooms needs upgrading. They do not replace the water in the room and the coffee machine on the floor we are on only dispenses espresso. The pool is quite cold but jacuzzi, sauna and steam room nice. We had some drinks in the bar which was nice and the service good. After the safety issues I don’t think we would stay again.
