Bass Lake Provincial Park

Bass Lake is a great camp site! The facilities are extremely clean and well maintained. Depending on what site you choose privacy could be good or poor. Pad slope was not too bad just wished site 237 had a bit more grass. The beach was really clean and not too crowded. Will definitely camp here again!

Good place to go! Fresh air and quite place and good spot to reconnect with nature. They have spacious camping sites. This place is also good for biking. Lots of walking trails too. Washrooms are okay. The beach side can be crowded during weekends, water is clean and shallow and good for kids but Adults can enjoy the far side. You can rent kayak too. Our site location is hilltop side kinda far from the beach,so we ride our car since i have 3 little kids who hates long walks .and also we have lots of thing to bring to the picnic beach area so riding car from our campsite is the best way. We are very happy during our stay. Definitely going back here next summer.

This lake park is relatively small. Beach area is also very small and gets filled up very quick just with few families. Very limited parking spaces. Though neat and Clean overall but spaces are very tight. Their Kayak rental options are good. Staff is friendly, some scenes are great. BBQ is allowed and fun doing it.

Great park! Beach is big and water is shallow out pretty far. Stayed in the Hilltop campground and our site had great tree privacy. Could walk to the beach if we chose to. Would stay here again! Playground: Good for kids all ages Restrooms: Restrooms are pretty far from the beach area. Unlike previous Provincial Parks we have visited. Picnic area: Grab one fast on the weekend! Day users grab more than one.

Lake/beach has a nice and safe area for kids to enjoy. There is not any extensive trail network but it is sufficient for a fun experience. Overall facilities at this location are good. Bathrooms were sometimes at very far distances from some sites. Staff is very friendly. There is traffic noise at some of the campsites as they are close to the road, but it wasn’t too bothersome. I enjoyed the park’s proximity from GTA.

I highly recommend this provincial park to anyone who wants to get away for a while! Quiet, clean and well maintained!Absolutely love camping here!! Staff are courteous and friendly, helpful and efficient!! Children and grandchildren all camp here as well!

It is well maintained and beautiful space to do camping, close to orillia makes it easy to camp. They have kayak and boats to be rented it is worth. The beach is nice and clean.

We loved our time fishing, swimming, star-gazing, biking, walking, and 'camping' here! The sites are large and most have decent privacy. Many have some slope to them as described on the booking website but we were very happy with ours. From check-in to departure we had no issues or complaints.

Beautiful fall view and great memories. I like the lake, trail, serenity. 1 star off because of the skunk - which was very consistent and visited us a lot, it made us shorten our trip.
