This is my go-to spot for coffee, breakfast and lunch when adventuring in Squamish. Bright, airy new space - not visible from the street: look for Unit 9 just behind the building that’s parallel to Queens Way. Favorites: - Canadiano for coffee - Any of the sandwiches - Frito Pie chili, cheese and Fritos as a post-adventure snack
Glad this place has opened again. Espresso based coffee is alright. I like their breakfast buns; quintessential Squamish on your way to do something active fare. Not as much food selection as before. Hours are good, one of the only places open this early that does food. Upstairs sitting area is nice.
I’ve always liked the coffee beans from Galileo but I don’t think I ever had a barista who was properly trained in pouring a great latte. I don’t necessarily care about the latte art - purely optional - but the consistency and texture of the milk has never been great. This was already an issue when I tried them numerous times in Britannia Beach and the issue persists at their current location on Queens Way, each time hoping for a better experience, only to be let down by either too hot milk or too foamy texture. The staff have a great attitude, however and the baked goods and food options are delicious, every time. I realize I may be the problem here - my expectations are possibly too high given my snobby coffee attitude. But other establishments in town are more consistently delivering a better latte. I hope to one day experience that next level texture I so crave for in a latte at Galileo but for now, I might have to give this place a pass.
This is my go to coffee and "quick breakfast" spot when passing through or visiting Squamish. The location is peaceful, easy to find and close to the highway. Their espresso is on par with Revolver downtown Vancouver so I always encourage people to get their brew from here! The staff are friendly and their shop is comfortable.
Having just moved to Squamish this year, finding our favorite coffee shop was essential. Discovering Lance + his team was nothing short of a delight! While I am sad to see them leave the lil white house down the highway, having them in town is such a sweet treat for the rest of us! It is our favorite coffee on the run AND the best spot to get a coffee + breakfast to stay to start any great day. Thanks Friends!
Did a quick stop at Squamish heading back to Lower Mainland, and they served a perfect latte to keep me awake for my drive. Will definitely remember this shop when I pass by again.
If you love coffee this is your best choice. They roast their own beans the whole restaurant is beautiful and perfect to meet friends. Highly recommend this coffee shop.
Best Cortado in town . Don’t know what a cortado is ? .. go to Galileo’s and find out; Lovely staff and reasonable prices in a time when many cafes seem to be gouging. Parking: Easy parking
Best Coffee Shop in Squamish! Beans are roasted in-store, they know what they're doing, and the space is great.
Very tasty coffee, I especially love their cold brew and kombucha on tap. The service is warm, friendly and filled with many helpful tips. Overall, a great local gem :-.
