Had a great experience at bar isabel! Food was great. Service was superb! The vibes inside are nice and cozy.nnOur favourite dishes were the brussel sprout salad, the jamon croquetas, and the iberico jamon. We could have passed on the patatas bravas. They were just oknnThe only critique I have is they did not pace the dinner at all. We ordered many dishes and they brought it pretty much all at once. It was hard to fit everything on the table and we want to have a slower paced dinner.

We went for a late dinner with a couple of my girlfriends. My night started with parking hell. There aren’t any parking lots around so you really need to try your luck with street parking and side streets.nnOnce I got to the restaurant itself, the atmosphere is very dark and cozy, which I personally like for a late dinner and drinks. We had a few of the popular items on the menu which tasted amazing. However, it took the bigger dishes a very long time to come out after the first small plates were served. I don’t mind that so much but if anyone is going hungry then maybe it’s a good idea to order the bread as well.nnThe service was friendly, just not very attentive…. But they slap on a 20 percent service charge on every bill. I think the crazy tipping culture in Canada is now world renowned, and I can understand adding an automatic service charge of 15-18 percent to larger groups. But I can’t get onboard with an establishment that payrolls their employees through customer tips when the prices of their food is already on the higher side. We were a group of 3.

Had a lovely time celebrating our anniversary here!nnWent for the lunch prix fixe for 2 people, available Saturday 12-4pm. There was plenty of food, and it was maybe the best tapas I've had outside of Spain? The pan con tomate had a bit more tomato than I'd expect, but I'm not complaining. Standouts were the Patatas Bravas and the Pork Secreto - the sticky sweet dip complemented the salty juicy pork so well!nnIt's beautiful and vibrant inside. While it would've been nice to sit in the colourful lighting rather than the natural light closer to the window, I really appreciated being able to sit somewhere a little quieter to enjoy our meal.nn10/10 - would definitely come back again!

The space is intimate and cozy, and perfect for lingering over shared plates and drinks. The staff are genuinely friendly and caring, and they’re great at guiding you through the menu, especially when it comes to cocktail recommendations.nnThe tapas are really good, though dishes did come out a bit on the slower side. But honestly, it fits the whole experience here: order a few cocktails, enjoy the atmosphere, and let the night unfold at its own pace within the seating time limit of course. Fantastic experience for the first time coming here! Service was exceptional and the food was some of the best I’ve had at any restaurant. Tried numerous dishes and all were very delicious but the stand out dishes was certainly the Octopus, Pork Secreto and the Basque cake! The atmosphere was also very great.
